💙🚐 Making journeys possible!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Gordon McLeod Leukaemia Fund, St Michael’s now has a specially adapted Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV).

This purpose-designed Peugeot Horizon lets patients with limited mobility travel safely and comfortably without leaving their wheelchair, making special trips out and visits home possible. 🌟

Bringing the beach to Carol! 🏖️

Carol, one of our lovely Day Services group members, had never visited a beach. So for her birthday this weekend, our team decided to make her dream come true, by transforming our Day Services room into a seaside escape! 🌊✨

With sand, a bucket & spade, and plenty of inflatables, Carol got her very own coastal retreat.

If you love Christmas and getting creative, this workshop is for you🎄👇

In case you missed it, St Michael's Hospice Shops have just announced two dates for a sustainable festive workshop, hosted at our Whitestone shop 🥳

Tickets cost £35 (plus £1 booking fee), which includes all the materials you'll need and delicious refreshments. We're working alongside marvellous local florist, Avril from FoodFriendsFlowers, who will teach you how to make beautiful festive wreaths using foraged and sustainably sourced materials 🎀

All money raised goes to St Michael's Hospice, so if you'd like to have a go at building a beautiful, sustainable wreaths for your home, while supporting your local hospice, then book your spot soon!
