When the weather is as cold as it is and weather warnings are issued, it can be very isolating. Make sure you don't isolate yourself. Take the opportunity to get in touch with friends or family you've not contacted in a while. Write a journal, sort that cupboard/room you've been meaning to for ages, try that hobby, finish that craft project or make plans for trips or visits to make when the weather improves. Stay positive and if you can, think of others who may be finding it hard too and reach out to them.
