Are you ready to roll out your mat for a good cause?
Join me for a Yogi P Community Yoga and Brunch at 10am on Sunday 30th April at The Shack Revolution in Hereford! All proceeds will be donated to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kidney Patient Association, a charity that is very close to our hearts.
The reason why we are holding this event is because one of our very own, Lowri Louise Lloyd, underwent her first kidney transplant when she was just 19 years old. Her father donated the kidney, but unfortunately, complications arose. It took a while to find the right medication to sort it out, but once these complications were resolved, Lowri enjoyed 7 wonderful years with the functioning kidney.
But as many of you may know, a kidney transplant is not a permanent solution, and on average, a live donor transplant can last up to 20 years. Luckily, Lowri's mother has also been confirmed as a match to provide a new kidney. With the support and care from the incredible team at QEH Kidney Patient Association, we are hopeful that this one will last a lot longer.
We are so grateful for the support that Lowri has received from the QEH Kidney Patient Association throughout her journey. Their help and care have been invaluable to her, and we want to show our appreciation by raising funds for this amazing charity.
The event will feature a hatha yoga flow and mindful meditation suitable for all levels. We will also be hosting a post-flow brunch where we will eat together with delicious smoothie bowls, protein balls, and Masala Chai to nourish your body and soul.
Please note that spaces are limited, and tickets cost £25, so book your spot now and help us support Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kidney Patient Association. Plus, there will be a chance to win one of our amazing Wellness prizes with your donations and bookings!
Let's come together as a community to make a positive impact and show our love and support for Lowri and everyone who has been affected by kidney disease.
