Newstead residents have been extremely busy over this Christmas period. 🥵 Here is a few Photo's of residents helping out with making sweets, wreaths and decorating the Christmas cakes. Plus they peeled veg, made stuffing balls and tucked the pigs in their blankets too! 🤗 Wishing you all a Happy New Year! ❤️

Every year we commemorate and honour the family we have lost within Newstead House. This year we decided to use Robins to symbolise the residents we have sadly lost.🕊 Demi with her yongest daughter Florrie lovingly placed each robin within our memory tree.Remembering them;honouring their stories, cherishing their memories and carrying their spirt forward'.❤️ Wishing you all a Peaceful & Happy Christmas🎄

Newstead residents had their Christmas Party on Friday. 🎄We had our lovely friends the Gadzukes Ukulele Players in. We danced, laughed , sang and had great fun😁 Our cook Sarah Still made some amazing cakes 🍰 mince pies, Mulled wine and Hot chocolate! Thank you to all the team,a special thanks to our cook and housekeeping team too. We tend to keep you extra busy this time of year! 😊

What a busy week at Newstead House!😁 We took our last trip out this year to Radway Garden Centre. Residents enjoyed the Christmas aisles. We also stopped for cheeky cake and cuppa. Thank you to Jayjay and Belinda for coming along with us. 🥰 We also met up with relatives. Simple things always are the most enjoyed. Living our Best Lives

Newstead Houses Pantomime of the Good the Bad and the Ugly was an absolute success. 🧚‍♀️We had a brilliant audience they Boo'd at all the right places!'Oh yes they did'!🤣 Congratulations to our amazing Residents who had so much fun writing, singing and acting it out. Thank you to Jayjay Wilson for all the rehearsal time you gave!To all the staff that went that extra mile and joined in the fun, Louisa Crump Louise Moore Sophie Tanner Sarah Still Ali Ough Gail Newstead You made Newstead House's first Panto possible. 😀

Children came from St Francis Xavier school to sing Carol's 🎶. A big thank you to all the children. You put smiles on our face's and made it feel like Christmas.😊
