What an absolutely amazing day at Newstead. We celebrated Indian day🥳 . Our amazing staff made an outstanding effort to share their culture. Jinju, Blobias BM and Arch gave their day off, to come cook and share their talents. The residents were in awe! They also brought their family along to join in the fun. We appreciate your time and effort. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful day with us💞

We had a Karaoke afternoon on Friday! Vanda Haston and Louisa Crump were in full vocal swing with our amazing Residents! 👏 Fun and laughs had by all.

We have been decorating flower pots at Newstead. 🌻
Some of our ladies had a pamper session in the Salon. Our lovely Sally (our Fabulous hairdresser) was in on Thursday. So it was curlers in time!😉 Then a nice relaxing manicure or a foot spa!💅

We have had a lovely morning out at Hereford Garden Centre, part of Blue Diamond Garden Centres .🌻 We went inside with a task in hand. We were looking for indoor plants for residents, that unfortunately are not able to access nature as easily as others. Mihaela Halastauan joined us for the 1st time out with residents. What a lovely time we had!😊 It's important to us at Newstead House that everyone is living their best lives! 🥰

We had some feathery friends come today. They visited every Resident in the home. 😊 Thank you to Wings of freedom for your time.

We have had a more relaxed week at Newstead House, after all the fun of the Fete. Some Art Therapy and Bingo in the garden, enjoying the fresh air!😊 Thank you to Mollie Latham mum for the thoughtful donation of Care packages for all the residents.Most appreciated 🥰

Every staff member is appreciated at Newstead House. 🥰The team does a great job every day. We would like to thank Simona for going above and beyond in all she does . She has spent the last few weeks putting a new system in place. Even coming in on her days off !
You are all fabulous!
Lifestyle and Wellbeing have been thanked too for organising the Fete. This was a great success. Could not of done this without the Newstead team!🌟

Well the final count is in..... Our Summer Fete raised £1172! This is absolutely fantastic 😁
We also recieved donations from families that have recently lost their loved ones. A special thanks to you 💞
