Best TIP EVER for Driving Anxiety.

If driving makes your chest tighten, your hands sweat, and your mind race then this might be the game-changing TIP you’ve been searching for.
Here’s what I do every single time I feel panic rising behind the wheel:
I hum.
Not just any humming…… I hum the same sounds over and over, like a steady rhythm cutting through my brain.
It’s almost hypnotic. That rhythm becomes louder than the fear, steadier than the panic, and stronger than the anxious thoughts.

Why it works:�✨ Humming calms your nervous system instantly.�✨ It regulates your breath without you even trying.�✨ The repetitive rhythm gives your brain something safe and steady to latch onto instead of spiralling into “what ifs.”

This little trick has turned the scariest routes for me into something manageable. Honestly, it’s my go-to rescue tool when driving feels overwhelming.
If you struggle with driving anxiety then please do try it.
Hum.
Over and over.
Let the rhythm carry you until the fear melts away.
Sometimes the simplest things are the most powerful.

Hello.
My name is Jane and I live in Burghill. I am a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master and Teacher, Laughter Yoga Therapist, and Sound and Energy Healer.
I have many years of experience working one to one privately and also with various local groups. I have run sessions in many Hereford residential homes, worked with the young and the elderly, run sessions at Mind, for Echo, for Aspire, and even the Brownies and Girl Guides.
These days I work mainly at a martial arts centre in Hereford and some of you may know me from there.
