What Does “Moving from the Lower Dantian” Mean?

In Qigong "moving from the Lower Dantian" embodies these profound concepts:

Energetically.
You direct your Qi, your vital life force, from the Lower Dantian, just below the navel. This energy flows through your body, enhancing your movements, creating a powerful connection between body and mind.

Physically.
You allow your movements to originate from your core, not just your arms or shoulders. In Qigong, as you lift your arms, let it begin from the Dantian, fostering strength, stability, and a sense of seamless flow.

Mindfully,
You stay grounded in the Dantian while moving—this empowers you with balance, presence, and a harmonious flow.

To make the most of this beautiful weather I will be offering 30 minute seated Reiki treatments in my garden tent for the next couple of weeks as detailed below.

Thursday 14th between 12 and 3pm

Saturday 23rd between 10am and 2pm

Reiki works on lots of levels and can actually help you to make and cope with major changes in your life.

The aim of this drum circle is to connect with other like-minded people in community and create a unified rhythm and energy through the collective playing of instruments. Please feel free to bring other percussion instruments, such as shakers, rattles, tambourines, and bells, in addition to drums.

If you do not have your own instrument, please feel free to just come along and enjoy the energy!!

£8 donation per person for hire of venue (no profit is being made by the organiser)

Open to anyone who has received a Usui Reiki Ryoho Level 1 or 2 attunement

We will do some meditation, a reattunement (if desired) and have a catch-up session for anything that you'd like to share or questions that you may have.

Time permitting, I would also like to do a Reiki Mawashi (circle of shared energy).

Still undecided about the Reiki Level 1 workshop on Saturday? My Reiki journey started in 1996 completely by chance. My mum wanted company on the course and although it all sounded a bit weird I agreed to go with her under duress. It was the best decision that I ever made!! The Reiki connection has supported me through many difficult situations in my life, physical and mental health problems, financial difficulty, bereavement, relationship breakdown, job loss, potential homelessness......
