I turned to holistic therapies after experiencing for myself how supportive it can be through stressful life changes whether personal or work related. Since qualifying in 2011 in Complementary Therapies and Remedial Massage, I have been working as a Massage Therapist and find my job to be very rewarding. I take an holistic approach to all my treatments allowing my clients to find their inner peace and develop their wellbeing, both physically and emotionally. I believe in treating individuals as a whole, and being attentive to all their needs, be it physical and or emotional. Many of my clients initially come to me suffering with muscular tension and general aches and pains throughout the body. Once this is alleviated they often come back regularly as they have realised many other aspects of their life holistic therapies has improved. Massage can help you to find a movement in your daily life to rebalance and reconnect with yourself. Therapies

Bespoke Aromatherapy Massage
Aromatherapy can help to alleviate stress, release tension and eliminate toxins held in the body. The massage used in an aromatherapy treatment can be gentle and relaxing, or can be firmer pressure working into the deep tissue. Carefully selected essential oils and base oils are used within the massage to address your symptoms or mood. Holistic Massage
A individually tailored massage for the client which involves a variety of techniques designed to relax and release toxins from muscles, while increasing oxygen in the blood. Whether for relaxation or remedial purposes, Holistic Massage can be a powerful form of achieving wellbeing. Warm Bamboo Massage
This exciting new therapy is deeply relaxing and highly effective for lymphatic drainage. As well as helping with circulation, reduces stress and fatigue plus eases muscle aches and pains. Warm Bamboo Massage is performed with the use of bamboo sticks of varying sizes which are heated and applied to the skin with the use of aromatic or detoxifying oils. This treatment can be both lift and relaxing or used along side deep tissue. Aromaflex Masssage
A truly holistic treatment involving a bespoke aromatherapy massage of the legs, back, neck and shoulders with carefully selected essential oils and base oils to address your symptoms or mood followed by Reflexology. Indian Head Massage
Rooted in the ancient Indian healing system of Ayurveda, and works on the belief that all ailments are caused by blockages in the flow of Qi, around the body. The treatment is performed lying down to maximise relaxation and includes massage of the face, scalp, upper back, neck, shoulders and arms to help rebalance the body’s vital entry. It can be highly beneficial for treating stress, tension headaches, jaw pain and fatigue. Thai Foot Massage
This consists of working the feet and lower legs and is performed with hands and a wooden Thai foot stick. The treatment is both relaxing and invigorating and has the aim of balancing the body, encouraging good health and can help with circulation within the feet and lower legs. Reflexology / Maternity Reflexology
Uses pressure massage on specific areas of the feet to stimulate healing in the corresponding organs, glands and structures. This releases areas of tension and helps energy to flow more freely throughout the body. Ear Candling
A soothing non-invasive treatment that may help many ear, nose, throat, sinus and head conditions. This treatment involves a tapered candle being placed in the ear and when the candle is lit, it causes a vacuum which will help draw away impurities in the ear canal. The gentle heat stimulates the blood and lymph circulation, which boosts the immune system and helps regulate pressure within the sinuses. The treatment also includes a gentle lymphatic drainage and acupressure point facial massage. Facials

A facial is one of the most holistic and truly relaxing treatments available, It is a combination of luxurious organic facial treatment and light lymphatic drainage - NYR Organic Holistic Facial is designed to leave skin glowing with radiance and give a sense of well-being that lasts beyond the treatment. A facial works by cleansing your skin and pores, nourishing your skin with a mask, followed by facial and scalp massage which boosts circulation to your skin, helps with your facial lymphatics, and releases areas of tension in your facial muscles. In order to aid the healing process and to get the maximum benefit from your treatment, it is advisable to ~

*Drink plenty of water or herbal tea after your treatment - the body needs extra fluid to help flush through any toxins released by the massage.

*Try to avoid drinking alcohol or caffeine, smoking, eating heavy meals, or very strenuous exercise for the next 12 hours after your massage.

*It is not unusual to feel very relaxed and even drowsy after an Therapy. Allow yourself a suitable rest period afterwards and take extra care if you need to drive shortly after the treatment.

*During treatments toxins are expelled from the tissues and the body systems are stimulated to eliminate waste more efficiently. Therefore please do not be alarmed if you experience some after effects. This is normal and a positive sign that your body is responding and starting to balance itself. Occasionally people experience headaches, nausea, dizziness, increased thirst, increase urination / bowel movements, stiffness in muscles, sleepiness / extreme fatigue, heightened emotions or the symptoms of a cold for a day or two after a treatment. To enjoy the full benefits of the of essential oils used in your massage avoid showering or bathing until the following day. Cancellation Policy: In the unfortunate event that you cannot attend your appointment please let me know as soon as possible. If you do not let me know or contact myself less than 24 hours prior to your appointment there will be cancellation fee charged of 50% of the treatment cost to pay before you are able to rebook your next appointment. If you call and cancel due to Covid-19 symptoms any cancellation fee will be waived.
