I’ve been working more slowly in the studio lately, letting myself arrive.
Before I make anything, I’ve been creating small rituals, little corners of intention in the studio. Lighting incense, watching the smoke curl, breathing in the scent of pine and resin.
Not for aesthetics, but to mark a shift from thinking into creating. I found these stone goblets by chance in a vintage shop this week, after feeling a quiet pull to go in. It felt like they were waiting for this exact purpose.
I’m learning that how I begin changes everything that follows.
