πΎ LITTLE EXPLORERS πΎ
Join us for our last 3 sessions of 2025!
Tomorrow we will be exploring hibernation and help the animals by making winter homes β€οΈ
Temps have dropped over the last week but
Getting outside in winter is vital β it supports childrenβs mental health, builds resilience, offers rich sensory experiences, and teaches them that nature and play donβt stop just because itβs cold.
Also ties in well when we are thinking about the animals that live in the woods and surviving winter.
Remember to dress little ones in layers β a thermal base, warm midlayer, and waterproof outer layer β plus warm hats, waterproof mittens, and thick socks. If theyβre warm and dry, they can enjoy the magic of winter play.
Little tip for feet waterproof/neoprene socks under wellies if they are not lined but if you haven't got any try a pair of socks, nappy sack/dog bag, socks then boots.
This applies to you as well don't forget about you, you are just as important β€οΈ
