Mat Group & 1:1
Reformer 1:1

I am a Mat level 3 qualified Pilates teacher, I have been teaching since 2010 & have practiced Pilates since 2002. I offer both group and private one to one classes in the Herefordshire and Powys area. In addition I run a private Facebook Group where I share weekly prerecorded classes as well delivering live weekly Zoom classes. Pilates lengthens & strengthens all the muscle groups and in particular those deep core muscles, which are so important to our overall health and well being. Pilates practiced on a regular basis can have numerous benefits: improved strength, flexibility, coordination, balance & most importantly our posture.

H is for Happiness

Happiness is moving your body in a way that feels good.

Happiness is showing up for yourself, even on the days you don’t feel like it.

Happiness is the energy in the studio when we exercise together, support each other & share smiles… usually when I fluff my lefts & rights!.

Our Good Friday sessions were the perfect example | atmosphere was so uplifting, positive & full of giggles … Thank you x

Happy Easter | see you Monday 13 April 🐣

12 months since my name went above the door.

Pilates Emma was established in 2012, starting out in community village halls & now celebrating a full year in my very own studio space.

A whole year of studio growth, learning & so much happiness.
I feel incredibly grateful to have welcomed so many wonderful clients—both on the mat and on the Reformer | 11 weekly mat classes & a full 1:1 Reformer schedule.

What’s been built over the past 14 years is so much more than just classes… it’s a genuine sense of community, support & joy every time we come together.
Having a full-time studio has only deepened that connection 🤍

Thank you for being part of it….& here’s to many more!

Emma x

P is for Pelvic Clock

This month in our mat group classes, we explored the Pelvic Clock | a powerful yet subtle movement that helps us connect more deeply with our posture and spinal awareness.

By gently mapping the pelvis like the face of a clock, we’ve been:
🕰️ Increasing awareness of how the pelvis moves
🕰️ Understanding how it supports the natural curves of the spine
🕰️ Improving mobility in the lower back
🕰️ Building a stronger mind-body connection

When we truly understand our back anatomy — how the pelvis, sacrum, and lumbar spine work together — we move with more control, ease & confidence.

The Pelvic Clock reminds us that small, intentional movements can create big changes in how we stand, sit & move through daily life.

Empowered, posturally connected, and moving with purpose 💫

K is for Kindness🤍

Kindness filled our Super Saturday class this morning in shared smiles, quiet encouragement & gentle support between client and client.

Kindness also showed up in how we chose to move: listening to our bodies, honouring what today allowed, rather than pushing past it.

It was steady breath and gentle strength, letting Pilates become a moment of care & enjoyment but not correction.

Move kindly
To yourself
And to each other

Thank you all for making our first Super Saturday of 2026 perfect 🤍

Our Story

I am a fully qualified Mat level 3 Pilates teacher with over 18 years Pilates experience. I had the wonderful opportunity to train with Micheal King & Malcolm Muirhead (Qualified @ MK Pilates in 2012). I regularly keep myself update with a variety of online learning as well as attending specific training workshops.

I offer group, online and private one to one classes in the Herefordshire and Powys area. My mat classes are suitable for beginners to those looking to improve. To bring variety to classes I use Pilates light equipment eg Foam Rollers, Therabands, Loop Bands, Soft Balls, Weighted Balls etc

In class I create an environment that encourages concentration but I also recognize that there are times when clients need to interact thus ensuring everyone learns effectively and indeed each are working to their own capability.

Pilates practiced on a regular basis can truly make a difference :- lengthen & strengthen all the muscle groups and in particular those deep stabilizing abdominal and glute muscles. Pilates uniquely connects mind to body and allows us time to think about how we move and in turn encourage us to move better and more freely. Additional benefits include improved posture, strength, flexibility, coordination and balance..
