Kemble at Home is a reputable family-run firm with a strong local community base. We’ve been caring for people for over 20 years and have built up our client base thanks to the recommendations of professionals and other existing clients. We now provide services to several hundred people across Herefordshire. Our key strength is our people: we have carefully selected, well trained and motivated carers, who are supported by a highly competent team of managers. All of us believe strongly in our shared ethos of compassion, integrity and excellence. We take great pride in the exceptional quality of care and support that our staff provide for people who wish to remain in their own homes. And we understand the importance of maintaining independence, and of exercising choice and control in the decisions that affect our lives. We have developed our services to provide you with just the right level of assistance — precisely as and when you need it. We offer a flexible, tailored response, ranging from a few hours a week through to full time support, including 24 hour live-in care. Whether requiring companionship, minor assistance around the home, personal care or more complex support, our services are designed to help people lead a fulfilling life with as little dependence upon others as possible. It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear colleague, Alison Hamlin who died peacefully this morning at St Michael’s Hospice.

Alison was truly the heart of Kemble at Home — a warm, welcoming presence who made everyone feel at ease from the moment they walked through the door or picked up the phone.

She brought joy not only through her kindness, but also through her love of animals and her special touch in everything she did.

She will be deeply missed by all of us.

Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones.

Due to circumstances outside of her control, does not currently have access to finances (which is being sorted out) but she is in need of essential items while things are being sorted, such as: toiletries (toilet rolls, soap, toothpaste), cleaning products, basic snacks. We have information leaflets/booklets on lots of different aspects around Dementia and Parkinson's, and are looking to add more. Pop in to reception and grab a booklet that you might find useful to you or a loved one.
