Post 3 : What’s normal after birth?

🩸 After giving birth, bleeding is completely normal – and usually heavier than a period. It’s your body’s way of letting go of blood that’s no longer needed after the placenta comes away.
💡 Most people will lose between 200–500mls (around a can of fizzy drink). It might feel like a lot, but it’s part of a healthy recovery.

Welcome to the home of the Real Birth Studio. A space purposely created for women, their birth partner/s and baby’s in the antenatal and postnatal period.

Our community is the heart of our studio, with the purpose and goal of creating an environment that nurtures you in this very special time.

We know that creating time for yourself in pregnancy can be difficult with the demands placed upon us in our busy daily lives, yet we also know how much you’ll be wanting to gain as much knowledge as you can to help you prepare for both the birth and the care of your new born baby.

To help you with this, the Real Birth Studio has a wonderful and experienced team of practitioners, all here under one roof, to assist you in this journey.
