We are delighted to share that Tracy Johnson has been promoted from Wellbeing Lead at Meadowview Care Home to Resident Experience Manager across all Ashberry Healthcare homes.

Tracy has made such a positive impact through her creativity, compassion, and dedication to enhancing the lives of residents, and we are excited to see her bring that passion to homes across the group. In her new role, Tracy will support our teams in creating meaningful experiences, strengthening resident wellbeing, and helping every Ashberry home continue to feel vibrant, engaging, and full of life.

Today we enjoyed a special morning of horse therapy, where Simon spent a peaceful time with a beautiful Norwegian Fjord pony named Loffy. Having had horses of his own in the past, Simon shared fond memories of life on his farm while enjoying the calm and comfort of being around the horses in a beautiful setting 😊

For International Nurses Day, Gareth had the honour of presenting Nandi with a gift and card from the residents and staff at The Weir as a big thank you for looking after everyone so well 💙

This week for Mental Health Awareness Week, we have been focusing on the importance of wellbeing at The Weir. 💚

Supporting emotional wellbeing looks different for everyone. For some of our ladies, a little pampering and having their hair done helped them feel uplifted and confident. For Gareth, some fresh air, a walk around the beautiful Weir estate, and dedicated one-to-one time for a chat helped him feel calmer and clearer in his thoughts.

Taking time to listen, support, and care for one another is at the heart of what we do every day.

Joan enjoyed a lovely walk in the sunshine with the therapy dog ☀️🐾

Residents enjoyed a lovely visit from a therapy dog called Martini. She was calm and gentle, and residents enjoyed giving her lots of fuss and feeding her biscuits. 🐾
