There’s nothing quite like enjoying your own garden.

At Hampton Grange, resident David takes great pride in tending to his personal garden space – a place where he can relax, nurture plants, and enjoy the outdoors at his own pace.

Over the weekend, after a glorious sunny day, our Head of Marketing popped by with her daughter… and she was more than happy to get stuck in! Together, they helped David water his garden, creating a lovely moment of connection across generations.

It’s these simple, joyful moments that make Hampton Grange feel like home.

We had a wonderful time at our Celebration of Spring event at Hampton Grange last week.

Our 1920s-themed event was a real highlight, with our fantastic visiting entertainer bringing the room to life. From the music to the atmosphere, it was lovely to see residents singing along, smiling, and fully embracing the spirit of the day.

Our kitchen team also put on a fantastic spread, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone and made the celebration even more special.

We had some very special visitors today as a mother duck and her adorable brood of ducklings waddled right up to our front door.

Moments like this remind us how lucky we are to have nature quite literally on our doorstep at Hampton Grange.

Exciting update at Hampton Grange Care Home!

We’re delighted to share that our brand new decking area is now complete!

This much-loved space has been beautifully refreshed and is ready once again for residents to sit back, relax, and take in the stunning views of the river and surrounding countryside. It’s already proving to be the perfect spot to enjoy the sunshine, fresh air, and peaceful moments outdoors.

🐊 Lots of laughs with our Crocodile Game!

Residents had great fun playing a lively game that certainly kept everyone on their toes. Each time the crocodile snapped shut it gave us all a little fright – followed by plenty of laughter! It was a wonderful activity that brought smiles, excitement and a bit of friendly competition to the day.

🌙 World Sleep Day – Sleep Well, Live Better

Today, we marked World Sleep Day, highlighting how important quality sleep is for health and wellbeing. A good night’s sleep can make such a difference to a resident’s mood, comfort and overall experience of living in our home.

At Hampton Grange Nursing Home, we’re also delighted to welcome Doreen as a new resident. After completing her Sleep Gap Report, Doreen has settled into a lovely night-time routine which has really helped her feel comfortable and at home with us.

It’s been wonderful to see her settle in so well, and we feel truly blessed to have Doreen join our community.

Everyone loved choosing their colours and bringing their pictures to life, with some beautiful designs and bright birds appearing on the page. It was lovely to see the concentration and creativity as residents chatted and shared ideas around the table.

A beautiful spring moment at Hampton Grange Care Home.

Our Customer Administrator Carly enjoyed some lovely time outside with resident Annette, soaking up the sunshine and admiring the cherry blossoms in bloom. After Annette asked if they could go for a walk, it was the perfect opportunity to step outside and enjoy the fresh air together.

Sometimes it’s the simple moments that mean the most.
