Dear Chakradancers

Welcome to Spring! It’s been a while since we have run a Chakradance but we are pleased to confirm that our next session will run on SUNDAY 7TH MAY at 1.30PM @ Swagga Dance Academy, Herne Bay.

Many of you have asked when we are next running a session so this is the date we have settled on. As it’s a bank holiday weekend, we are hoping many will be able to come!

The aim for this dance is to welcome in new Spring energy as we all know April is really the start of the new year. As we will still be in the process of the eclipse, we might be feeling more optimistic and inspired to move forward in our lives, whichever way this might show up for you. A solar eclipse can influence us for the next 2-3 years and is an ideal time to plant new seeds, new visions and bring in new energy.

Why not dance this into reality?

Due to the cost of the studio hire increasing, we are unable to offer ‘pay what you can’ sessions, something we very much hoped to be able to do. However, we are offering an early-dancer price of £15 if you book BEFORE Monday 1st May. After this, the price will revert back to the usual £25.

We also need a minimum of 6 people to be able to run the session. If we don’t get this amount of people then we will have to postpone so please tell your friends! But be fast as we can only accommodate 18 people.

We had a dancer come to one of our sessions from Physiologies magazine to give us a feature in the magazine.

We loved her feature and the pictures she done for us.

Last year we had a lady drive from Buckinghamshire after seeing the feature we had in the Aprils edition of Psychologies.

CHAKRADANCE Did you know that we are a Mother and daughter Chakradance facilitators 💃💃

Chakradance has transformed our life’s in so many ways.

Its changed our life’s from the inside, that then changed everything on the outside.

Jan used to follow Chakradance 16 years ago back in her early 50’s, she dreamed of wanting to one day facilitate this life changing healing modality fully and deeper.

Leanne has always loved music as she used to DJ in her spare time and once entered a competition as” Lady L “ when at university and won the competition.

Jan asked her if she would like to join her with the Chakradance training 3 years ago during lockdown. Leanne loves drum and bass so music is a very important part of her life.

We both use to go to Len Goodmans dance school in Dartford many years ago. Jan went to the ladies group and Leanne to the tiny tots disco dance group.

The moment Leanne heard the music she was in, and we both signed up for the 6 months training. It took us on a deep transformational journey dancing through each chakra and then living through the lens of what each chakra was shifting in our life’s.

IN OTHER NEWS…

We are ‘disbanding’ The Alchemists on social media and Leanne is going to be running the Facebook and Instagram accounts. If you already follow us on instagram, the user handle is now ennu.alchemy but this won’t affect your follow. As things are not so simple in Facebook land, there are complications around changing the page, so it would be great if you could follow me on Ennu Alchemy instead.

Jan and I are still running Chakradance classes together.
After the passing of Jan’s mum, my grandma back in October 2023, Jan was exploring the work as a Soul Midwife, working with 20 Sacred oils. Jan was looking to explore this more after she completes her Clinical Aromatherapy Diploma hopefully in March, once she has taken the exam. Her aim is to support families using Flower Essences alongside Essential oils.

Jan was able to use some of the work during her mums last days, as she has been following for the last year some of the teachings of Felicity Warner who teaches Soul Midwife’s. The day Jan was on the Introductory day course to feel if she really wanted to explore this deep work, as she was not sure, was the day her mum had a heart attack and taken to hospital.

Jan now feels that being by her mums side during her last 8 days that her mum was the initiation into this work.

Jan is going to be committing to a Soul Midwife training starting in May after her Clinical Aromatherapy Exam. There will be volunteering work that Jan will undertake as part of her training.

We are looking forward to sharing an hour of Chakradance today in Herne Bay.
Free flowing music to Chakra resonant music.

We believe that the power of movement as a therapy should be accessible for all so today we are facilitating an opportunity for those who want to dip their toes into seeing exactly how body movement can help with mental health and feeling good about yourself.

Steam distilling at the Alchemists therapy space today with Jan’s early birthday present from Peter.

Experimenting with the herb of Rosemary.

We are going to be doing some workshops on the process from plant to Essential oil & Hydrolats / Floral Waters soon.
The room smelt wonderful.

In clinical aromatherapy it has many uses for the following :
Cardiovascular System
Digestive system
Nervous system
Musculoskeletal system
Respiratory system
Hair care
Helps with mental fatigue, focus and memory.
