Campaigners warn that recent and upcoming Motability Scheme changes mean disabled people are facing higher costs, fewer vehicle choices, and reduced freedom to travel.

Transport for All is leading a coalition of 70 organisations calling for urgent action.

🌟 Say hello to Phil, who will be taking on the London Marathon challenge for on 26 April 2026! 🌟

"This year I will be taking on my biggest challenge yet, the London Marathon and I am raising funds as part of the Spinal Injuries Association team who are a charity very close to my heart. After sustaining a spinal cord injury myself in 2020 life changed for me and my family overnight and the SIA played a huge part in my physical and mental recovery."

Phil is a familiar face at SIA and a long term volunteer who has manned the advice line, supported our community groups and attended numerous events to help us to spread the word.

Mobility scooters give many people independence, but users remain some of the most vulnerable people on our roads. In fact, casualties involving mobility scooters have increased by around 20% year-on-year over the past decade.
