🪅⭐️🤩Progress: I am now 4st 7lb lower than my highest weight. My aim is still to reclaim my 6st weight loss brag! 💪🏻
The last 8 years have been gruelling health-wise. I have quit some traumatic treatments, had other treatments, had operations and explorations (and felt vindicated with every one when they found something wrong even if they deem it too mild to help-the impact on my life is not necessarily mild.) All that while also going through menopause and dealing with other life challenges that have hit me quite hard.
Most of these medical problems are linked to genetics, hypermobility and neurodivergence.
My weight loss is slower than my usual steady progress (and compared to the faster progress of others in terms.) I need higher calories for the things that have been diagnosed and the medications I need to manage those diagnoses. Luckily protocols have changed. A while ago I would have been contraindicated due to PoTS and not able to use meal replacement products 🙄🙄🙄
❌ Just doing a bit of exercise doesn’t help me lose weight. It’s great for other things but useless for me for weight loss.
❌ I can’t just eat salads and lose weight. They tried that one on me for a year when I was about 6 years old in primary school- feeding me limp lettuce for lunch when everyone else got better food. Newsflash-I didn’t lose weight.
❌ Every time I eat a conventional meal, my weight loss stops and can it takes days to restart. Blame one of the conditions I have! It’s great for maintenance but a nightmare for me for weight loss. So I’m only eating off plan on special occasions until this is done.
✅ The healthiest I personally feel is when I get complete nutrition from Meal Replacement Products.
✅ MRPs keep me healthy while I lose weight.
✅ MRPs don’t cause flare-ups of my symptoms like conventional food can. (I can’t comment on your symptoms!)
✅ MRPs are low enough in calories that I can lose weight without losing vital nutrition. That’s just fact.
✅ I really enjoy the MRPs that I have every day.
✅ I think it’s pancakes for breakfast 😍👏🏻
