πŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Build intensity in your training over a period of time. Prioritise pre-event rest; fatigue correlates highly with injury πŸ€•

🍏 Fuel your body to compete, your muscles & tendons need nutrients to perform. Don’t experiment with new foods on competition day ❌

πŸ’ͺ🏻 Don’t wait until you’re injured to see a physio. Both James & Cerys had treatment sessions to keep their body in check & will have post event recovery treatment too πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

πŸ€ΈπŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ Adequate warm up, go through the movements & if you haven’t warmed up enough don’t just risk it for the sake of not being able to move for weeks to come

πŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ RESPECT recovery, your body has pushed to its limits. Prioritise sleep, refuelling, hydration, mobility & rest!
