Are you team “prevention is better than cure?”

When I tell people what I do consistently to treat my skin I often hear, “but you don’t need that yet!”.

Actually, I don’t see it that way. Why be reactive when we have the understanding and technology to be proactive? From experience I can tell you confidently that consistent, considered minimally-invasive treatments are most cost effective than leaving it until moderate-to-advanced signs of ageing have crept in to treat them. And results can be so natural.

Hello, it’s me. I’ve had a flurry of new followers recently and I’ve managed to tick over the ‘1000’ followers mark. Huge accomplishment for the Dr who knows nothing about social media.

A little bit about the face behind Pelle Aesthetics.

My name is Dr Sabrina Valentino, I’m a qualified GP and medical director/injector/administrator/receptionist/general dogs body to Pelle Aesthetics. And I LOVE THAT.

I’m an occasional fan of a downward dog or a particularly sweaty spin class but mostly I’m a home girl. From a large family of Italian heritage, hence the name… Pelle = skin.

I’m outnumbered at home, mummy to two (very different, charming) little boys. My most important job for sure!

I always need background music- I have an eclectic taste, anything from Westlife (I genuinely can’t believe I didn’t marry Mark Feehily) to Lady Gaga.

I was a black belt in karate at the age of 12 and have always pushed myself to excel in life. My most famous ice breaker is pretty good and once got my a highly sought after job- but I can’t share it here. DM me if you’re interested to hear!
