Our Story

The Reflex Room was started by myself, Kate Benford MAR to provide Reflexology for all; to calm, relax, restore and re-balance.

For 12 years I have worked as an Allied Health Professional in the NHS, working unsocial hours in accident and emergency, being part of the team in surgical theatres and providing high quality imaging in order to aid a diagnosis. I am a diagnostic radiographer and have a wide experience of working with many people presenting with many conditions. I have seen first hand how stress in the workplace and your immediate environment causes further pain and tension to the body and I firmly believe in a holistic approach to health. That means my treatments will include aspects regarding your emotional, mental and physical health, your nutritional intake and environmental and external influences. I believe my background in Radiography supports me and my knowledge in helping you in Reflexology to facilitate the body’s natural healing processes.

Treatments take place in the calm and cosy surroundings of Hertford Chiropractic Treatment Centre, centrally located and with parking nearby. Mobile appointments are also available on request.
