New Year’s resolutions often fail because they are unrealistic and shortsighted.

‘Happy people’ have specific characteristics which they nuture throughout the year.
January is often a month where we feel a little low.

With these in mind, I thought it a good idea to introduce a helpful ongoing theme over the next few weeks; to explore and develop positive characteristics for more fulfilling life.

This week we will start with exploring and developing kindness. Starting with kindness towards ourselves. If we are kind to ourselves, we are more likely to be kind to others. If we are kind to others, they are likely to be kind to their people. And so the wheel of kindness continues.

Kindness makes us feel loved and wanted. Kindness can make all the difference to someone who is feeling low, sad, lonely, angry…

Giving kindness is a way of giving love ❤️
