Running clinics in the NHS, I see firsthand the very real struggles people are facing with their health. More than ever, the conversation seems to circle around quick fixes, like weight loss injections. 😩 And while they may have their place for some, they’re most definitely not the whole answer.

There is no magic injection or quick fix that will do the deeper work for us. The real, lasting transformation I’ve witnessed, both in my clients and in my own life, comes from shifting habits, supporting our metabolic health, and most importantly, changing the way we think about our health. 🙌🏻

I’ve been there myself. I’ve changed my own health outcomes, and it didn’t come from obsessing over calories or following the “perfect” diet. It came from taking a holistic approach. And it’s definitely not easy, but it’s possible!

Yes, nutrition matters, but so does everything else we absorb, what we read, who we listen to, who we surround ourselves with, the conversations we engage in, and even the energy we allow into our lives. All of it shapes us. All of it feeds us.

Health isn’t just on the plate in front of us, it’s in the way we live, the thoughts we carry, the boundaries we hold, and the peace we protect.

That’s why I’m so passionate about this work. 🤍

Because when someone begins to see health differently, not as punishment or perfection, but as a journey of balance and empowerment, that’s when real transformation happens. ✨

Happy Tuesday 🤍

Life can flip in a moment and lately, I’ve been riding the wave with my little fluffy companion all the way.

We’ve done a lot of walking.

There’s been change, joy, a few stumbles, great food, s**t food, occasional drink, a whole lot of reflection. I’ve started things, ended things, and started writing it all down. I’ve always written it down. I’ve always found that a useful tool.

I’ve felt the pull back to routine to the version of me that feels best in my body and mind. Health and wellbeing are calling louder, and I’m listening. Because I need it. Celery juice I’ve missed you 😭

I’ve been thinking a lot about primary and secondary foods, something I learnt whilst studying, the food on our plates is only part of it. What’s feeding our soul, our peace, our joy… that matters just as much. If not more.

Gratitude and kindness is always the winner. ✨🙌🏻🤍

You know when you think it’s kind of funny… but actually, my goodness, it’s really not?
Yeah, that.
That’s been me a lot lately. 🤍

I’m deep in learning more about somatic healing this intrigues me, and I keep coming back to the book that honestly hits differently every time📖

The Body Keeps The Score by Bessel van der Kolk. (I know I mention this a thousand times, but it’s a good one)

“What we experience doesn’t just stay in the past; it leaves an imprint on the mind, brain and body.”

It’s wild how much our body holds on to, and how much power there is in releasing it. This is my mission at the moment.

Frequency, energetic shifts, all of it, it matters more than we realise.

I’ve also started learning about bioresonance, which is honestly blowing my mind.

⚡ Our cells emit electromagnetic frequencies.
⚡ When there’s imbalance or dis-ease, these frequencies shift.
⚡ Bioresonance works by reading these frequencies and using vibrational energy to help bring the body back into balance.

It’s subtle but SO powerful, like tuning a musical instrument back into harmony.

And you know what? Resilience is a superpower.
It’s not a weakness.
You can present any way you like in life, but your body, your energy field, doesn’t lie. It always circles back.

That’s the law of vibration: what you put out will always pour back into you. I get great comfort from that. 🙌🏻

We’re energetic beings.
We’re constantly tuning.
And I’m here for it.

Everyone’s always talking about “balancing your blood sugar,” but what does that even mean? 🍬🍰🧁🎂🍫

For me, I started noticing that when I don’t eat properly, or skip meals or load up on sugary foods, my mood takes a serious hit. I get this wired-but-exhausted feeling, I’m more anxious, I crave sweets constantly, and honestly, it feels like I’m running on fumes. I used to think it was just stress… but a lot of it was actually my blood sugar.

Here’s what I’ve learned: when you eat something sugary or high-carb, your glucose spikes, and your body releases insulin to bring it down. But when it crashes too fast, your body freaks out a bit and releases stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol to bring it back up. 😵‍💫

That rollercoaster can leave you feeling tired, jittery, moody, and totally out of balance. And over time, it can really wear on your adrenals. Great!

What surprised me most? Even foods I thought were healthy, or ones I didn’t know I was sensitive to, were quietly adding to that stress. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Getting more mindful about how I eat (and what I eat) has made a huge difference. More steady energy, fewer cravings, better sleep, and way more emotional balance.

A few years ago, I became fascinated with mushrooms and their healing properties; I am still pretty intrigued as they have so many medicinal benefits. Luckily for me, I love them, so I try to include them in my diet as much as I can.🍄

I personally always choose organic mushrooms, but you can use the dirty dozen list as a guide if you want to know which foods you should always choose organic. 🤍

Here are a few interesting Mushy facts:

Do you have a feeling that something is not right with your cycle? 🩸Perhaps you’ve got used to specific symptoms because they were ‘Your’ normal, but now you think something is not quite right! 🤔

If so, this is your time to take action! 🙌🏻 Quit being fed up and just letting the months roll on. Because there is so much you can do! 💫

There is so much info about balancing your blood sugar levels and why it’s important, and I speak with many clients who want to learn more about this, which is great!

But, there are also lots of clients who are getting absorbed into the marketing of devices that can help you do this, which creates another obsession, which, in my opinion, isn’t a sustainable long-term solution, especially as you start to get hooked on a number. It’s not too dissimilar from counting calories, which is another pet hate of mine! Your focus becomes on what a device or number tells you. And I have then seen clients getting anxious about what the number is saying, which causes another stream of stress.

The most subtle nutritional and lifestyle swaps and tweaks can make a huge difference in balancing blood sugar levels. 🙌🏻🤍💫
