They’re conducting short interviews to understand how you find information to support your child. It’s a 50-minute chat with two friendly DfE researchers — done via Teams or face-to-face at a time and place that works for you.

Help your child transition smoothly into nursery or school with these top tips ✨:

🗣️ Talk positively about their new school or nursery to encourage excitement.
🚶‍♀️ Take regular walks past the new school to familiarise them with the area.
🕒 Discuss the school day routine, like registration, snack time, and playtime.
👕 Introduce their uniform by washing it to give the clothes a familiar smell and feel.
📚 Read stories about starting school. Visit your Library to access books for free!
🤝 Attend sessions at your local Family Centre to introduce new environments and meet new people. Our team are here to help with any questions!

Discover the Ark Farm Animals! 🦆

We’re excited to bring the farm experience directly to you! Come and enjoy time with adorable animals like cows, pigs, sheep, goats, donkeys, and ducks. 🐐🐑

Additionally, there will be an interactive small animal experience where little ones can interact with creatures such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and a pygmy hedgehog. We’ll also provide various crafts and engaging activities for children to explore and have fun!
