🐣🌼 Easter Joy at Bentley House 🌼🐣

We’ve had a truly special Easter here this year as our residents enjoyed watching adorable chicks hatch from their eggs right before their eyes! 🐥💛

There’s been so much excitement, curiosity, and plenty of smiles as everyone gathered to see the tiny chicks and ducklings make their big debut.

Spending time with the chicks has brought comfort, laughter, and a wonderful sense of connection for our residents – a perfect way to celebrate the season of new beginnings 🌷

This Easter weekend we’ve been busy celebrating with lots of smiles, sweet treats, and lovely springtime activities. From decorating Easter themed activities , Hot Cross Buns to enjoying delicious chocolate eggs in our Easter Egg, it’s been a wonderful weekend filled with laughter and Warmth.

Our residents have shared special memories of Easters gone by, making the Easter Weekend even more meaningful 💛

our residents enjoyed a peaceful stroll to All Saints Church, taking in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings along the way 🌿

Once inside, we spent time admiring the stunning architecture, intricate details, and calming atmosphere. It was a wonderful opportunity for reflection, conversation, and sharing memories.

Outings like these are so special — bringing joy, connection, and a sense of community to everyone involved, We are Lucky to have such a stunning Building and, Heart of Hertford Community on our doorstep💛

We are hoping to return tomorrow afternoon to trial some of the Street food Heroes that will be taking over for an evening of great food and Music for all to enjoy!

Happy World Poetry Day 💛

Our wonderful residents were joined by pupils from Richard Hale School, and together they shared and read poetry to one another. From classic verses to modern favorites, the room was filled with laughter, reflection, and beautiful words.

Moments like these remind us how powerful connection across generations can be. Thank you to the students for bringing such energy and joy to our home — and to our residents for sharing their stories, wisdom, and love of poetry.

☀️ Cooling Down & Staying Healthy! ☀️

Yesterday we celebrated the change in weather while also celebrating Nutrition and Hydration Week in the sweetest way possible — with delicious ice lollies! 😋💧

Not only are they refreshing, but ice lollies are a fun and tasty way to help keep everyone hydrated, especially as the days start to get warmer. Our residents loved choosing their favorite flavors and enjoying a cool treat together 🍓🍊🍋

Moments like these remind us that good nutrition and hydration can be both enjoyable and social 💙

On Sunday Bentley House celebrated Mother’s Day with lots of smiles, laughter, and special moments. 🌸💐

Our wonderful residents enjoyed a lovely day filled with warm conversations, sweet treats, and time spent reflecting on the many memories and love that mothers bring to our lives over a glass of Pink Fizz. It was a joy to honour all the amazing mums, grandmothers, and mother figures who have given so much throughout the years.

Thank you to our staff and families who helped make the day so special. ❤️
