PRE AND POST NATAL REFORMER INSTRUCTOR COURSE - Fri 24th April 1pm - 5pm

Learning Objectives:

Understand the anatomical and physiological changes during pregnancy and postpartum.
Learn how to adapt Pilates exercises to safely accommodate each stage of pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
Develop the ability to create customised reformer Pilates routines for pregnant and postpartum clients.

Learning Aims:

Equip students with the knowledge to ensure safe and effective Pilates practice for all stages of motherhood.
Foster an understanding of the importance of core strength, pelvic floor health, and overall wellness.
Promote confidence in guiding clients through their prenatal and postnatal journey.

Learning Outcomes:

Students will be able to design and implement safe and effective reformer Pilates sessions for pregnant and postpartum clients.
Students will demonstrate an understanding of modifications needed for different trimesters and recovery stages.
Students will be able to assess and address the unique needs of each client, ensuring both safety and effectiveness.

Pre-requisite…

All leaners/Students/Instructors need to hold a Reformer Qualification or Certificate.

£300 for 5 Hour credited Level 3 Course.

One thing I really love about classes at Nu You Pilates is that it’s never just about going through the motions.

In this clip Becky is correcting my form, and honestly that’s one of the things that makes such a difference. They really take the time to make sure you’re doing each movement properly so you actually get the most out of it.

It’s not a “copy what everyone else is doing and hope for the best” kind of class. If something needs adjusting, they’ll adapt it. If your form needs tweaking, they’ll help you fix it. If you’re dealing with an injury, they work with you so you can still move safely.

That attention to detail is what makes the sessions so good — you’re constantly learning how to move better and getting stronger at the same time

I wanted to try Pilates to help rebuild my post-partum strength and support my body after having a baby. I’ve also struggled with lower back pain over the years, so I was looking for something gentle but effective to strengthen my core and improve my posture. My chiropractor actually recommended Pilates, saying it’s great for supporting the spine and helping with recovery, which really encouraged me to give it a try!

What you’ve enjoyed about our classes so far?
I love how focused and mindful the sessions are — it feels like time I’m taking just for myself while still doing something really positive for my body. I’d normally find every excuse under the sun not to get myself to a fitness class after a long day at work and juggling a toddler but this is movement I really look forward to - Christina 💜

This is not a “hardcore studio” High intensity has its place…
