I want to take a moment to thank everyone for your support and understanding over the past year.
It’s been a challenging time for me (as I know it has for a lot of others) as I’ve been navigating some health issues, which have kept me away from my work more than I’d ever liked or thought.
I’m looking forward to brighter days ahead and am eager to reconnect with all of you as I get back on my feet.
Wishing each of you a happy, healthy and fulfilling year ahead.

The benefits of massage for the older adult
As we age, we generally become less mobile. Massage helps soften muscle and tissue and reduces tension increasing mobility over time. Improved flexibility gives a wider range of motion, making everyday activities and tasks easier. Regular massage can Improve the symptoms of arthritis by reducing pain and increasing mobility.
Circulation often worsens with age, fortunately massage therapy has been shown to increase blood flow throughout the body, including to the lower limbs.
Massage Improves balance and gait through improved blood flow. Massage will increase proprioception, the perception or awareness of position and movement of the body, therefore improving balance and reducing the chance of falling.
Aids with stroke rehabilitation. When used in conjunction with physiotherapy massage can improve range of motion and aid with regaining muscle control. Massage will also help with the mental impact a stoke causes.
