Strong emotions in adolescence are not a sign that something is going wrong. They are part of development.

My Professional Insight Session on Building Emotional Resilience in Adolescents explores how recovery, rather than avoidance, shapes long-term emotional strength.

The recorded session looks at how adult responses influence emotional recovery, why strong reactions are developmentally normal, and how small shifts in tone and response can support resilience over time.

I’m a practising psychotherapist and Doctor of Education specialising in adolescent mental health, working across both private practice and educational settings. These sessions draw on over 14 years of clinical experience supporting young people and families.
