This mornings little adventure for space ☀️🌳

A beautiful early morning walk with a beautiful friend. She brought some gorgeous Ogham runes, so we naturally did a little divination sat on my favourite bench with the Hawthorns, and ate some berries for breakfast 🍓

My work and way of walking through this world brings some incredible people in to my life which I am very grateful for, especially when we choose each other as people we like to hang out with ♥️

We walked to the sound of the Bittern booming out across the lake, enjoyed the blossoms coming in to their own, and stood mesmerised by the sun dancing on the water ☀️

As we approach Beltane and the Scorpio full moon I would absolutely recommend taking a little time for some self reflections, it is likely to be an intense full moon.

Scorpio ♏️ is power and transformation. Its ruler Pluto is touching Venus in an Air trine, so we could well feel it in our hearts 💗 and break out of some old stubborn patterns.

Jupiter, the planet of expansion, faith and personal wins is Square to Mars, the planet of action, empowerment and initiation, from Cancer to Aries so an opportunity to lead yourself in to some self care and rest.

Mercury is merged with Chiron in Aries, healing perspectives around relating, authenticity and self preservation, and if there are any wounds to the voice you have a moment available to find and heal yours ♥️

The space I created for myself today☀️🌳

2 of my favourite things at Rievaulx are the standing stone on the altar, and the recent addition of the Labyrinth in the cloisters 😍

I’ve been visiting since 2015 and there is just something about being there that settles, grounds and resets me.

Today was a trip out with an awesome friend and fellow practitioner Phil Clubley Kinesiology, we have to practice what we preach right?

The balance point ☀️

This year the spring equinox falls on the 20th March, and maybe by now you are a little tired of reset points and big energy astrology posts? I certainly am.

First it was the usual 1st Jan calendar New Year, then the first New Moon on the 19th Jan, then the first eclipse, the Chinese lunar new year of the fire horse, and finally the great conjunction of Neptune and Saturn at 0 degrees Aries.

All of that before the seasonal new year, it’s definitely been a lot already this year 😅 and now, just like nature, it’s time to swing in to balance.

It’s a beautiful exhale point this year, by the 21st March all planets will be direct, it’s a period of ease and grace, an opportunity to deeply ground and regulate our bodies, to allow our minds to focus forwards, to regain a little faith in our world. This comes to a close with Pluto turning retrograde on 7th May.

Equinox is the period of equal day light with equal nighttime, an ideal time to tend to our circadian rhythm, or body clock as you may know it. A part of us is still having a yawn and a stretch and preparing to come out of hibernation, systems may be feeling a little frazzled at this point with all of the energies and it’s only March, maybe give yourself a chance?

If you are near to me, myself and Helen are offering a retreat day of balance and flow, an opportunity for some quiet time, connection to body, nature, and self. With yoga, forest bathing, sound bath and a nature walk all in the beautiful East Yorkshire. If you aren’t near to me, I would recommend taking a day out of your life and retreating somewhere for a little while 💗🌲
