As most of you know I’m now based at Be Hair and Beauty in the picturesque village of North Ferriby—a place that feels like home already. Alongside being a therapist I’m also a Beauty Therapy Lecturer at Wilberforce College in Hull—a challenge I’m absolutely loving! And so, to give you my absolute best…

The Hideaway was born. A private, one-on-one treatment experience—quiet, cosy, and nestled in the heart of North Ferriby. My focus is on you—my long-term clients, many of whom I’ve treated for over 20 years. This space allows me to dedicate my time, energy, and expertise to delivering the very best treatments while continuing to refine my skills. The salon offers ample roadside parking, a few charming local shops, and a lovely little café just around the corner. Plus, it’s only a stone’s throw from the stunning foreshore of the River Humber—a perfect spot for a post-treatment stroll. I’ve been invited to Parliament… 🇬🇧✨

I was selected by to attend an exclusive industry event at the Houses of Parliament this April focusing on the future of microneedling and raising standards across our industry.
In partnership with , this is about setting new national guidelines to ensure treatments are delivered safely and to the highest level.
To be recognised and invited into a room alongside those shaping change in our industry is a real milestone and i was absolutely buzzing to be asked!
Although I can’t attend due to logistics, being included at this level reflects the direction both my work and the industry are moving in.

Exciting little career update 🤍

I’ve been selected to join the Dermalogica PRO Collective.

Really pleased to be part of a programme that supports professional skin therapists with education, content creation and upcoming launches. There are some exciting things in the pipeline over the next few months, including the launch of Pro Collagen Banking Water Cream, and I’m looking forward to sharing more as it unfolds.

I’ll also be heading to Dublin next month for the DermaVerse 2026 event. Two immersive days with the professional skin therapist community, focused on education, innovation, business growth and what’s next for our industry.

Expect future trend forecasts, next level skin regeneration conversations, business and brand strategy, AI in customer experience and wellness sessions built in and I’ll be taking you along with me of course.

Our Story

The Loft Beauty has been open for over 12 years in East Yorkshire, and is in the heart of Hessle, which boasts many little treasures including café/cocktail bars, restaurants, and boutiques. We're open 6 days a week and also late nights to accommodate all of our clients, and we would like to welcome anyone and everyone to enjoy a special treat.

I qualified 17 years ago at Hull College Queens Gardens. I opened The Loft Beauty In May 2008. My favourite treatments to perform are Dermalogica facials, specialist waxing and massage. My favourite treatments to have done myself are Dermalogica facials, pedicures and back massages. I currently work, Tuesday’s, Wednesday (1/2 day), Thursday’s, every other Friday and every other Saturday.
