On Tuesday afternoon we enjoyed some live music from Mark Turner. 🎤✨

​From the moment he struck the first chord, the home was filled with energy and smiles. Our residents had a wonderful time singing along to some timeless classics and chatting about their favourite songs. I always enjoy seeing how music can spark such beautiful memories and bring everyone together.

​Thank you Mark for another wonderful performance; we’re already looking forward to the next one! 🎶

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have won Marton Care Homes monthly competition for March with our poem! 🥳🎉

We will be receiving a professionally printed and framed copy of the winning poem to display proudly in our home. 🖼️✍️

John & Isabella have had a morning filled with creativity and laughter as they designed and created some Easter themed wreaths. 🐣🎀🌸

Activities like this are more than just crafts; they're a chance for our residents to share stories, keep busy and bring some seasonal sunshine into Elm Bank.

💞 EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH 💞

Well done to our fantastic Maintenance Officer, John T - Elm Bank employee of the month for March! 🛠️🥳

​John is the definition of a "quiet hero." Whether he is fixing a tricky leak, brightening up a room with a fresh coat of paint, or making sure our gardens look beautiful for the residents, he does it all with a smile and incredible attention to detail.

​But it’s not just about the repairs; it’s about the care John shows our residents every single day. He always stops for a chat, lends a helping hand, and ensures that Elm Bank feels like a safe, comfortable, and happy home for everyone.

Wellbeing Lead Nadiyah has been carrying out some very interactive reminiscence sessions across the home.

Residents and staff have shared meaningful conversations around favourite jobs, favourite places to visit in the local area, teenage romances, and much-loved pets.

A very simple, enjoyable way to connect and enhance wellbeing. 👏👏💞
