What a treat we have had today - our first ever silent disco was a massive success. 🎧🎵🎶

I can honestly say I've seen (and heard) nothing like it! 🕺🎧🎶

Residents (and staff) thoroughly enjoyed singing and dancing along to some fantastic music. 😁

Many thanks Shhuffle Silent Disco , we had a blast!

🩷🩷Today on World Kindness Day, we would like to send our thanks to Patricia and her dog Sula for their continued visits to our residents at Elm Bank.

Seeing the joy on everyone's faces during their visits is absolutely priceless!

Sula is a registered friendship dog with Wag and Company - a North East based charity befriending older dog lovers in care homes, hospitals and the wider community to reduce social isolation. 🩷🩷

Lest We Forget. 🌺

Today at Elm Bank residents, staff and members of our local community joined together to pay our respects for Armistice Day.

We took part in a two minute silence at 11am; reflecting on the sacrifices made by our Armed Services, past & present.

This afternoon we have had an afternoon tea with live vintage music performed by Vicky Sandison.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. 🫶
