This means we are committed to providing support to Veterans and their families within our local community.

The Stand Up to Cancer 2025 campaign is taking place from 5th-12th December.

At least 9 million people in the UK are not up to date with their cancer screening. Screening is a way to detect cancer early, when treatment is more likely to be successful, and in some cases can prevent the disease developing in the first place.

Currently, many people do not take up their NHS screening invitations. Working out if you are eligible for cancer screening can be complicated and to help with this, the campaign organisers have created a simple online screening checker which is due to launch today.

Youth Mental Health Day (YMHD) provides hope and positivity, by getting young people engaged in discussions and activities about how to improve their mental health.

Samaritans is the charity that prevents su***de through the power of connecting people in crisis with trained volunteers who will always listen.

Please note that the surgery will be closed from 1pm on Wednesday 16th July for staff training.

The phone lines will re-open at 4.00pm for any queries (there will be no appointments available to book).

During the closure, If you need medical help, use NHS111 online or call 111.

In a medical or mental health emergency, call 999. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

The practice will be open as usual from 8am on Thursday 17th July.
