Are you looking for something to get your school involved in this World Book Day? 📚✨

Examples of what I offer:

📚 ‘Ready Steady Read’ sponsored reading events - this is where the children read as much as they can for a certain amount of time eg. a week and they are sponsored for doing so by friends and family. Every penny of the money is used to purchase books for the school.

Usborne throw in up to 60% in extra books of your choice so you can end up with a huge amount of books from holding one event, and most importantly it encouraged the children to read!

📚 A book fair - our book fairs are bespoke for your school. We can be flexible in how we run them and the aim is to make it minimal work for you. The school can earn up to 60% in free books depending on the amount of the book fair sales.

📚 An author visit - Usborne has fabulous fiction authors who love to visit schools to chat about what they do and inspiring your pupils. We can provide copies of authors titles that parents or the school can purchase which would have the bonus of being signed!

In addition, Usborne have put together some fabulous book bundles this year at a discounted rate. These have been designed to include a range of titles that we believe every child should have access to in their school or nursery classroom.

This makes me so sad that often children cannot access mental health services locally and often have to travel miles or pay expensive fees to receive support!

Sponsoring a mental wellbeing bundle for a school, nursery or family hub could help those children before they need specialist support, or even provide some help whilst they are waiting.

To celebrate reading and storytelling in the run-up to World Book Day and beyond, The Rainbow Book Den is excited to share a brand new school competition.

One school will win an author visit from Emma Swan, giving pupils the chance to meet an author, hear first-hand about the writing journey, and be inspired by books in a really memorable way. One runner up will also win a signed set of the series so far!

✨ This competition is designed to
• encourage a love of reading
• support literacy and creativity
• give schools something exciting to share with pupils and parents
• create meaningful book-focused conversations in school communities
