🗓On Tuesday 2nd September 9am to 7pm the Heywood Primary Care Network will be at Darnhill Library along with our Social Prescribers and Health care professionals.

Volunteers and staff from Public health and Voluntary services will be also present.

FYI has now moved from Darnhill, Argyle Place to Croft Shifa Health Centre

is moving from Argyle Place to Croft Shifa Health Centre in Rochdale from Tuesday 12 August.

Our contact details and services will remain the same. You can also refer in the same way as before.

Our new address is/will be The Croft Shifa Health Centre, Belfield Road, Rochdale OL16 2UP.

The new location offers improved facilities while maintaining service quality, with the same staffing as before.

If you have an existing appointment with us, this will now take place at Croft Shifa from Monday 18 August. You don't need to do anything – we'll still see you at your usual appointment time.

Please note there are no drop-ins on Tuesday 12 or Thursday 14 August.

*Cervical Screening Results from September 2025*

From September, NHS England will be trialling a new way of sharing results from the NHS Cervical Screening Programme.

✅ If your test result is negative, you’ll receive a notification through your NHS App.

✉️ If the notification hasn’t been read within 72 hours, a letter will still be sent to your home address.

⚠ Any abnormal results will continue to be sent by letter.

Moving results into the App helps provide:

-Faster access to your results.
-Reduced reliance on post.
-Secure digital storage of your results in one place.

👉 If you haven’t already, now is a good time to download and set up the NHS App:

After an incredible 33 years of dedicated service to our patients and community, Dr Duffy is retiring from Heywood Health as of 31st July 2025.

We know many of you will join us in thanking Dr Duffy for his unwavering commitment, compassion, and care over the years. He has made a lasting difference in the lives of so many patients and colleagues and will be truly missed.

From all of us at Heywood Health, we wish him a happy, healthy and very well earned retirement 🩵
