Important message for people aged 75 +

Winter viruses can be serious as we get older. If you or someone you know is over 75, remind them to get the vaccines they’re eligible for.

Vaccines can be booked via the GP practice or local pharmacy.

Local mental health crisis support services are available all year round - in all parts of Greater Manchester.

They offer urgent help so you don’t need to go to A&E or wait for an appointment or referral.

One week to go until , the NHS cancer awareness roadshow is back on the road.

The van will visit all ten boroughs of Greater Manchester over the next few months. Our friendly team will be on hand to talk to the residents about the signs and symptoms of cancer you should look out for, cancer screening and what to do if you’re worried about cancer.

First stop is Manchester, where we will be visiting:

🚌Asda Eastlands Superstore - Sunday 2 November (morning)
🚌The Etihad Stadium - Sunday 2 November (afternoon)
