Be part of Kaden’s care team | Salford

Kaden requires dedicated Healthcare Assistants to support him in his home on a 2:1 basis.

He enjoys spending time with his family and care team, getting out in the community, watching football a big Manchester United fan and building Lego.

We’re looking for someone who shares his interests and is happy to support with activities, including occasional trips and UK holidays.

You’ll need at least three months of care experience, be comfortable with pets, and have a full UK driving licence.

Location: Salford, Greater Manchester
Shifts: Full Time | Days & Nights
Pay: £14.00 - £17.50 per hour

It’s a chance to pause, check in with ourselves and those around us, and remember that wellbeing isn’t a luxury - it’s essential

Here are a few small but powerful ways to support your wellbeing this April:
• Move your body - even a 10 minute walk helps
• Take your breaks on time and in full
• Ask for support when you need it
• Rest your mind to avoid burnout

Stress is something we all experience, but we don’t have to let it overwhelm us. Acknowledging it, slowing down, and reaching out for support can make a real difference.

At Apollo Home Healthcare, we also have Mental Health First Aiders who are trained and available to talk whenever you need support. If you’re struggling or simply need someone to listen, please reach out to your local office - help is always available.

Use April as a reminder to be kind to yourself, prioritise your wellbeing, and be kind to others who may be carrying more than they show.

This Sunday, two of John’s close friends, Sam and Mikey, are running the Manchester Marathon for him.

They’re running to raise funds for a new wheelchair accessible van, something he relies on every day to stay independent and access his community.

At Apollo Home Healthcare, we support John with his care, and we see how important his independence is.

His van isn’t just a vehicle; it’s his way of getting out of the house and staying connected to everyday life.

Sam and Mikey have already raised over an incredible £5,000, and they’re now aiming for their £7,500 target!

Every mile they run this weekend is about helping their friend, John, maintain his freedom and quality of life.
