This is Margaret, one of our current customers, catching up with Shirley — someone we had the privilege of supporting for a good while before her needs changed and she moved into a residential care home.

That's something we see from time to time, and it's a completely natural part of the care journey. Our job is to support people in the right way at the right time - and when that means cheering them on as they move to the next chapter, we do exactly that.

What never changes is the relationship. Shirley's family remain close to our hearts, and moments like this, two familiar faces, both looking absolutely brilliant. It reminds us exactly why we do what we do.

She plays a key role in ensuring standards remain high and communication stays strong.

Our amazing Shaheen made sure Dilys wasn't missing out on this gorgeous weather — getting out for a lovely walk in the sunshine, followed by a well-deserved drink at the local. Perfection.
