I am a retired engineer who has also played guitar in a variety of bands over the years and understand the needs of players based on my own experience. 'Heywood Guitar Doctor' is my retirement project and as such is not a shop front type business, I work from a home based workshop so flexible with respect to drop-offs and collections, which operates by appointment only.

Steves USA PRS Custom 24. Standard fit rotary selector switch replaced with a Switchcraft 3-way toggle for improved ease of use, tremolo mountings screws adjusted and trem re-balanced to fully float, bottom strap pin re-fixed. Re-strung with 10's and set up for standard tuning.

A brace of stunning old Yamaha electro-acoustics on the bench for Charlie. Both guitars are from 1989/91 era and in great condition. Both are in for a restring and setup. String balance issue resolved on one and the other has had a new LR Baggs Anthem pickup installed.
