National Bereaved Parents Day is observed annually on the 3rd of July to recognise and support parents who have lost a child. It was created to bring awareness to the unique and lifelong grief that comes with such a loss—grief that is often carried in silence.

This day serves as a reminder that bereaved parents are not alone. It's a time to acknowledge their pain, honour the memory of the children they've lost, and offer a space for reflection, remembrance, and compassion.

Whether the loss was recent or not, today we stand in solidarity with every parent navigating life after such unimaginable heartbreak.
