I've just been to watch Heywood AODS at Middleton Arena with their production of 9 to 5 The Musical.

What an absolutely brilliant show! The cast, the crew, the sound and lighting techs, the band, and everyone who made it possible should be so proud of yourselves. Im proud of every single person involved.

Such a talented bunch from our very own community producing an outstanding, high calibre show. So enjoyable.

Im extremely proud to have the privilege of being the official main sponsor for all the shows.

Congratulations to all - absolutely amazing. I cant wait for the next one!

To everyone missing their mum, you are in my thoughts—especially today.

The love, lessons, and memories they gave us never truly leave. Even though they’re no longer with us physically, their presence lives on in our hearts, in the stories we share, and in the little things that remind us of them.

Sending love to those remembering their mums, and also to the incredible mother figures who have shaped our lives in so many ways.

May the memories you hold bring you peace, comfort, and a gentle reminder that their love is still with you every day.

Peacefully at home on 3rd March 2026, where she wanted to be with loving family by her side, Marilyn (Mal) aged 73 years.

Beloved wife of Alan, devoted mum of Caroline, David, and Michael, much loved mother in law of Lee, Sharmi, and Paige, adored gran of Faith, Bennie, Charlie, and Vincent, a dear sister, auntie, cousin, and friend to many.

Funeral service to take place at Blackley Crematorium on Thursday 26th March 2026 at 11.30am.

Another fantastic arrangement by my florist Jo Fletcher for a gentleman who loved his motorbikes and attending the Isle of Man TT.
The Three Legs of Man, or triskelion, is the official symbol and flag of the Isle of Man, featuring three armored legs with golden spurs, joined at the thigh and arranged in a clockwise rotation on a red background.

Suddenly but peacefully at home on 28th February 2026, Rita, aged 74 years.

Beloved partner of the late Graham, devoted mum of Julie, Diana, and Colin, sadly missed mother in law of Lee, Shaun, and Rachel, dear sister of the late Tommy, a much loved and adored nana and great nana, loving auntie, well respected colleague, and good friend to many.

Funeral service to take place at Rochdale Crematorium on Friday 20th March 2026 at 1.40pm.

Sometimes it can be a difficult decision what to do with your loved ones floral arrangements once the service has taken place.
You can place the flowers on a grave, press a few flowers as a keepsake or allow us to take them to a local Hospice or nursing home for the residents to enjoy to brighten their day just a little bit.
Another option could be for you to kindly donate your flowers, and we will take the arrangements on your behalf to a local community group The Flower Lounge at PossAbilities on Derby Street in Heywood so their service users can enjoy learning about the flowers, and break them down into smaller posies for everyone to enjoy.
Here are a few photos from yesterday after one of my lovely families donated their flowers in memory of their late and sadly missed mum.

Requiem Mass to take place at St Joseph's R C Church, Heywood, on Monday 2nd March 2026 at 0930am followed by interment at Moston Cemetery 11.15am.
