Keeping children safe while they connect, learn and thrive is always our top priority 🌿🐑

Following updated guidance on Infectious Disease Control in Animal Contact Settings, we have carried out a full review of our policies and risk assessments in line with the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974.

As a care farm supporting children and young people, we know how powerful animal interactions can be for well-being, confidence and development — and we are equally committed to ensuring these experiences remain safe, well-managed, and responsible.

✅ All risk assessments have been reviewed and updated
✅ Hygiene and infection control procedures have been strengthened where needed
✅ Staff are fully informed and supported in implementing best practice

certainly tried to knock us down at the end of January when she unexpectedly took our goat shed roof off. We are so proud of our little team for working together over the last few weeks to rebuild the roof, creating something much stronger and better than before. We have some final finishing you touches to do before the goats can move back in really soon. A huge thanks also goes to for their unwavering support.

Who we are

A care farm in North Devon offering day opportunities for children and adults with learning difficulties, special educational needs and disabilities. An accessible farm area with a variety of animals and the opportunity to engage in fantastic animal-assisted therapy practices. Home of the Pippin Alpaca herd of alpacas, the Ouessant of Devon sheep flock and a whole host of other animals, including Richard the Swiss Valais Blacknose wether, Brian the disabled Suffolk x wether and Kevin the peacock and his ready made family (shout out to all #theKeviners out there).
