is now officially started at Apple Tree Farm Services CIC, with a full house this morning for some adventuring on the farm.

Just a reminder that our HAF provision will run on Mondays and Tuesdays from 09:30 to 12:30 for the next four weeks, and includes all snacks and one hot lunch for the children attending.

And that's a wrap! The farm team are hanging up their wellies for our term time work, and will now be looking towards the delivery of our Summer HAF Programme and respite sessions.

We have a farm wide shutdown w/c 1st September but will be back raring to go on Monday 8th September.

A member of the office team will be in the office on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th September to check emails etc.

Every learning day is a fun day at the farm, but Friday fun day is definitely on a league of its own.

Today some the farm team and children have hatched into beautiful butterflies. They are hoping for some sunshine later on so they can go around casting rainbow shadows everywhere. 🦋🌈

Don’t forget the farm and office team are all in throughout next week before our summer provision kicks in.

Our FREE SEND Swimming Sessions are back this summer at SMART Swim Centre, South Molton — and bookings are now open! 💙

These relaxed, welcoming sessions are specially designed for families who have a child or children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 It’s a 1-hour family fun inflatable session featuring:

✅ A quieter, calmer pool environment
✅ Access to the slide, sensory toys & floatation aids
✅ Limited numbers to ensure it’s not too busy or loud

As we enter our penultimate full week of this term, the office team are taking their work very seriously and drafting in extra help to get our Summer HAF Programme finalised, and all our term time activities signed off for another academic year.

The pigs are making the most of every opportunity they get to cool down in this tad warm weather we are experiencing.

Earlier in the week the farm team rotatd all the animals around to ensure they were all in fields with automated drinkers, but sadly the pigs don’t have such luxury!

They currently have their waters refilled every couple of hours throughout the day to sustain an acceptable level of comfort during these super sunny days. 🌞

We hope you’ve all found a wallow of your own to sit in and cool down this weekend. 🤭
