150,000 of those sadly die

Often by knowing the signs of a heart attack and knowing what to do in a life threatening situation can help save a life.

Well that’s the summer holidays done and dusted!

Yesterday while children were enjoying their last day at home before Monday, the staff in a Derbyshire school were preparing for if the worst should happen.

They learnt how to carry out CPR and how to put an unconscious child into the recovery position, they also learnt to deal with choking, bleeding, anaphylaxis, asthma attacks along with a few other topics.

Knowing what to do in an emergency is vital particularly when it involves children.

It was a great day showing them the importance of first aid training.
I hope they all have a great start to the new academic year!

🤩 It’s Friday and 1st of the Month! 🤩

It’s been one of those weeks of catching up with all the admin, certificates, bookings and planning the last quarter of the year! Along with dealing with technical IT issues 😩

Having to multitask this morning, while the office dog is getting groomed at 8am in Chesterfield, I’m in Costa completing all the jobs!

I don’t mind a busy day, it feels good getting tasks completed!

I hope you have a great Friday and an even better weekend, whatever you’re up to! Let’s hope the ☀️ makes an appearance!

Delivering a manual handling course in Liverpool tonight for a company and this is the view.

We recognise that not everyone works 9 to 5. We can be flexible to meet the needs of our customers and I’m glad I did. Look at that sky. I would have missed this if I’d been here during the day.

I had a fun day delivering a one day emergency first aid course for the lovely staff and members at Cavendish Golf Course in Buxton this week.

They particularly enjoyed the choking vest! 😀

It’s so important to have first aiders, they really can make a difference between a life lost and a life saved.

Now the warmer weather is here this is WORTH SHARING FOLKS!

We have been alerted by Unilever that it is recalling Wall’s Mini Milk Vanilla Strawberry & Chocolate Ice Cream Lollies from sale following a labelling error which means product information, including ingredients and allergens (milk and may contain soya, pistachio and peanut), are in Spanish rather than English.

The product is therefore unsuitable for and should be avoided by anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk, soya, pistachio and peanut.

What a difference a year makes!

Our security dog, who in his eyes has saved us countless times from the delivery man, any innocent people walking past, magpies sitting in the trees, squirrels and the odd cat sitting on the car. He certainly makes the office a fun place to be! ❤️

This week we have been delivering defib training to some of the ladies section at Cavendish Golf Club in Buxton. They also learnt skills in how to give CPR to children and babies as well as how to deal with choking. They all did so well!
