Barbs weight-loss journey has been an amazing one!! Now at a loss of 17 kilos!! Since January

From 96cm to 86cm waist
From 114cm to 98cm on hips
From 107cm to 100cm on Chest

A perfect example of what to do once we are out of that initial weight-loss calorie deficit period.

Maintenance is a lifelong process that requires consistent but manageable effort whilst still enjoying the treats and living life!

The transition from active weight loss to maintenance can be challenging since it requires shifting from a temporary “diet” mindset to permanent lifestyle changes.

Most people find success by gradually increasing calories while maintaining the healthy habits that helped them lose weight initially.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Motivation comes and goes. Discipline and routine are what carry you through.

It’s okay to miss a day. Just don’t quit. One bad day doesn’t erase your progress.

Focus on how you feel, not just how you look. Physical changes take time, but mental and emotional benefits often show up early.

Consistency will give you the results

We all have ‘those’ days BUT I guarantee you never regret a workout you regret NOT doing it.

Getting up early and seeing First light with my little (no so little !) man.

8 Week Challenge Winner Rhiannon

Mum of 3 Rhiannon has lost an amazing 6 kilos on my 8 Week Challenge!

She has lost just under 7cm around her waist and Hips and 6cm off her Chest.

During this Challenge we worked on a Calorie Deficit Diet focusing on~

-High Protein diet with Correct % breakdown Protein/fats and Carbs
-Meal prep/planning in order to stay within Calories
-Recipes relevant to these goals with Macro breakdown that were easy, still eating delicious food and having the odd treat!
-Looking at what time certain foods were eaten/avoided.
- What brands to avoid/pick

Rhiannon was also consistent with exercise, increasing overall fitness and joining my class every week to focus on Strength and Cardio along with doing her own workouts and extra walks. So impressive!

Feeling achey, tired, low in confidence? Or maybe you are having hot flushes and changes to your periods?

Dr Jodie, a local GP, a member of the Australian Menopause Society and a women’s health advocate along with:
- Jules (dietitian with special interest in women’s nutrition),
- Emma (pelvic floor physio),
- Laura sparkle and calm mindfulness, and
- and me Laura (personal trainer and Gym Instructor striving to support women at this life stage through exercise and Health tips

Together we will debunk some of those myths, provide evidenced based treatment solutions and have a laugh along the way!
