06/08/2025 — the day our lives changed forever, and we became a family of three ♥️

I’ll be honest… I never grew up thinking “I have to be a dad” or that fatherhood was my purpose in life. In fact, before meeting , I didn’t even want to bring a child into this world—for many reasons.

But she showed me the true meaning of love and family. And now, with Baby Lila here, I can honestly say I feel complete. The love and instinct to protect them both is overwhelming and another purpose to life has been well and truly ignited!

Most days, I look at them and feel tears well up—just pure gratitude and happiness—knowing how unbelievably lucky I am. This new chapter is just getting started and I cannot wait.

TMJD... my absolute favourite area to treat, an area I specialise in and something I am deeply passionate about.

I’ve been seeing more and more clients with TMJD — jaw pain, clicking, grinding, headaches, neck tension… and it’s rarely just the jaw causing the issue.

In my 90-minute TMJ specific sessions, I take a full-body approach. Why? Because if we only treat the painful spot, we’re missing the patterns that caused it.

I use a mix of massage, joint mobilisations, trigger point therapy, and postural awareness to help your body reset — not just relieve symptoms, but support real, lasting change.

Year 4 at uni has been a stretch… literally!!

Today marked the end of clinic time for Year 4 — next stop: senior Level 7 student status.

Wrapped it up with a classic MET to the hamstring 💪🦵 Just like a good MET, I’m feeling some serious relief from all that built-up tension!

Rolling (and stretching) straight into Year 5 like a well-oiled hip hinge. Final year, let’s be having you! 🚀

A birthday camp away with a special team! What a performance from the team yesterday against The Netherlands to round off the UEFA Nations League campaign.

Thankful everyday to work alongside these incredible athletes and such a talented staff team.

Grateful as always to work with the incredible women of . This camp, the girls took on Germany in a double-header—the scorelines didn’t reflect how well they performed across both matches, and they should be immensely proud.

Every time I step into camp, I have to pinch myself. Getting to work with such talented athletes and a brilliant, knowledgeable backroom team is a privilege.

A camp of mixed emotions with the highs and lows of football... experiencing the joy and heartbreak alongside this incredible team. While last night's result wasn't what we hoped for, the whole team can be nothing but proud of the effort and dedication shown! 🙌🏻

I absolutely love my job as a soft tissue therapist. It's incredibly rewarding, and I feel privileged to work with such dedicated athletes. The last few months helping the Women's Scotland national team recover and prepare for their European qualifiers have been an amazing experience. Working as part of this team towards a common goal is inspiring, and it provides a welcome change from the solitary nature of working in a clinic.

Seeing the players give their all, night after night, fills me with pride. The passion and commitment from this group of players and staff is truly special, and I'm so grateful to be a part of this journey. 💙

To everyone involved last night.....you were amazing! 👏

Time to rest, recharge and regroup 💪🏻 On to the next!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 SWNT Camp No.2 Completed! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The ladies got Two massive wins against Hungary and onto the final Euro Qualifiers against Finland in 4 weeks time!

Forever grateful for these opportunities to work in international sport with such an amazing group of people. It's mad to think only 2 years ago I was stuck in a job I hated, signed off for Mental Health and suffering with severe burnout.

But here I am now, working with elite level athletes & staff. I have sacrificed and worked my ass off to get here and there is only more to come! 💪 All of this wouldn't have been possible had I not trained with . They gave me the tools to do a job I truly love

Hey everyone! 👋 It’s time for a reintroduction for those who are new here or have been following along for a while. I’m David Shah— a Sports & Remedial Soft Tissue Therapist and Student Osteopath. From this September I'll now be practising from in High Wycombe, Bucks.

My principle is simple....Kaizen!!—helping my clients achieve continuous improvement in their movement, performance, and recovery. Whether you’re into running, crossfit, or simply aiming to optimize your health, my goal is to guide you toward feeling and moving better every day.

In addition to my work at Soma House, I’m also a tutor at , where I get to share my expertise with the next generation of sports massage therapists. You might also catch me working with and the Women's , supporting elite athletes to perform at their peak.

Outside of my work & studies you'll find me at a local coffee shop indulging In cinnamon buns after a workout at my local CrossFit box!
