How I got into Moo Music.

Just before Christmas I was invited in to talk on the Marlow FM Parenting Show with Emily of and Sophia .uk

I'll be uploading more over the coming days, but for all soundbites, they are on my YouTube channel, as I'm not sure the 'listen again' options go back that far.

I've been wanting to upload these for a few weeks but the life just got in the way and editing took me longer than I thought it would.

Funky dressing-up glasses have been a hit at this week.

Some of them take me back to the 90s 😎

It's been a lovely week so far, celebrating my 4 year anniversary. In that time, some customers have come back with their second and even third child. I honestly feel so privileged to have families come back for more moosical fun with their little ones.

To think in January 2022, I was welcoming between 20 and 25 children each week and now I see about 150, some at their nurseries.

I still get a bit nervous sometimes and doubt whether I know what I'm doing, bit there's no doubt we all get so much out of our time together 🐮🎵💜

What is Moo Music all about?

You and your little one having lots of moosical fun together.

Engaging, interacting, being silly and letting them learn through play.

Whether you play peekaboo, practice with puppets, enjoy the instruments or dance around the room, Moo Music will bring you joy.

Of course there's the sciencey magic too ... cognitive development and memory, musicality and coordination, speech and language. Your child will be learning without realising.

Our theme for our first week back to Moo Music with Elvan is 'Jump into January'.

Get ready for lots of moo'ving around the room with hulas, wiggle ribbons and fun moments with your little ones.

2026 here we come!!

PS: there are a handful of spaces available on Tuesday and Wednesday this week as PAYG if you can't commit to the 5-week term.

Like me, you may have seen that we could potentially get some quite heavy snow tonight and into tomorrow morning. It truly has been very wintery and brrrrracing.

This is partly why I've not done a big hype post about returning.

If travel conditions are not safe enough for me to drive the Moo Van to my venue, then the weather gods have spoken and we'll have no choice but to delay our start to Moo Music with Elvan.

Same if there is a probelm with a venue like faulty heating or a leak etc.

If driving conditions are ok, I'll carry on as planned for tomorrow, Friday 9th, at Downley Community Centre.

I can't make that decision yet but definitely will do by about 8am tomorrow morning, so for those booked on, please keep a look out for a WhatsApp message from me.
