We are honoured to share that one of Ridley Manor’s residents, Maggie Rowe, "Miss England 1955" has now published her very own autobiography! 🎉

To celebrate this incredible milestone, we proudly hosted a book launch party yesterday afternoon. We also had a special presentation featuring Maggie’s pictures from her glamorous modelling days, which brought back many wonderful memories and smiles all around. Maggie was joined by her modelling friend, close friends, and fellow residents for a heart-warming celebration, followed by sparkling afternoon tea and a lively performance by Sophie & Mikey. It truly was a memorable and joy-filled afternoon! 💐📖✨

Yesterday afternoon, we enjoyed a fantastic musical performance by Troubadour Productions with their vibrant show “Trains, Boats & Planes.” Emma and Tom had all our residents singing along, swaying their arms, and tapping their feet to timeless favourites. With multiple costume changes and lively storytelling throughout, it was a wonderfully entertaining afternoon that brought music and laughter to everyone! 💃🎤🕺

Our recent Dementia Choir session with Jess from Jolly Old Time Entertainment had everyone singing along with big smiles. Residents followed their songbooks, clapped to the rhythm, and filled the room with beautiful harmonies. It was truly heartwarming to see how music brings everyone together.❤️

A little rewind to a sunny week well spent! ☀️ Residents made the most of the beautiful weather with peaceful walks to the duck pond, relaxing moments in the garden, and lovely visits from friends, both human and furry!
