🌸 Blooming Beauties at Ridley Manor! 🌸Our bistro was filled with the sweet scent of fresh flowers recently as residents enjoyed a creative afternoon of flower arranging! 🌹✨It was wonderful to see everyone getting stuck in, selecting their favorite blooms, and sharing stories. From vibrant tulips to delicate roses, these gorgeous arrangements are now brightening up the dining rooms, lounges and resident rooms. 🌿💛Flower arranging is such a relaxing and therapeutic activity—it really brings out the smiles!

Colleague appreciation week has been filled with treats, from a full English breakfast to an ice cream trolley, KFC, a candy cart, and plenty of pizza. But even with all of that, it still is not enough to truly show how grateful we are.
To our incredible team: you are the heart of Ridley Manor. The care, kindness, and dedication you bring every day turns it into a warm, loving home for our residents. That is something no amount of treats can ever fully capture.

Recently, residents were delighted to welcome Lucia’s Mini Farm back to Ridley 🐾
They enjoyed stroking and cuddling the rabbits and rats, and were also fascinated to meet a lizard and tortoise. We even had a lovely cockapoo join us, which brought plenty of smiles all around. 🐰🐀🦎🐢
Even residents who preferred to stay in their rooms got to enjoy the experience, as we took the rabbits around for them to cuddle.
Our furry and scaly friends truly made the residents’ day, creating lots of laughter, conversation, and special moments for everyone involved. 💛

⚽✨ Making dreams come true at Ridley Manor! ✨⚽

Yesterday, we took four of our gentlemen to watch a live football match between Wycombe Wanderers and Bradford City, and what a day it was! This trip was especially meaningful as it fulfilled our resident Danny’s wish. He is a huge football fan, and seeing the excitement on his face from kickoff to the final whistle was priceless.

Residents and staff had an amazing time cheering on “The CHAIR BOYS” from the front row; we may have been small in number, but we were definitely loud in spirit! 😄🙌 The smiles, laughter, and shared moments made it a day to remember for everyone involved.

A huge thank you to Wycombe Wanderers FC for helping make this special wish come true. You helped create memories that will last a lifetime! 💙

Easter celebrations at Ridley Manor were nothing short of fun! 🐣✨
The Easter Bunny went around the home on Easter Sunday, personally delivering eggs and bringing lots of smiles to residents. We also enjoyed a fantastic Easter musical show by Troubadour Productions on Good Friday, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
To top it all off, there were plenty of delicious hot cross buns, along with cheese and wine, making it a wonderful time of celebration for all. 🐰🎶🍷

This week, residents enjoyed a creative Easter arts session with Jan Gaska 🐣🎨
They painted plastic Easter eggs to hang as cheerful decorations and also completed additional Easter colouring, using lots of vibrant colours. It was a lovely activity filled with creativity, colour, and seasonal fun! 🌸✨

Yesterday, residents enjoyed a lively Easter egg hunt 🐣🌼
Eggs were hidden around the home, mainly in the Bistro and garden. With the help of little sign boards, residents went around collecting eggs, each leading to another surprise; all the egg shells contained mini Easter egg chocolates inside!
A great fun day was had by all. ❤️

Residents recently enjoyed some lovely Easter crafts with Aimee 🐰🌸
They created beautiful Easter wreaths and bunny hangings, decorating wooden wreaths and hangers using cotton and paint. A fun and creative activity enjoyed by everyone!
