๐Ÿง  Anger can feel sudden and overwhelming, but it is often a sign that your nervous system is under strain rather than a personal failing. When anger takes over, clear thinking and emotional balance are harder to access.

โš ๏ธ Many people try to manage anger by suppressing it or pushing it away. This usually increases frustration over time. Understanding how anger affects your brain and nervous system can help you respond more effectively.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ In this article, you will learn practical ways to interrupt anger before it escalates. The approach focuses on awareness, regulation and constructive action rather than avoidance or outbursts.

๐ŸŒฟ If anger feels automatic or difficult to control, therapeutic approaches such as Clinical Hypnosis, NLP and EMDR can help address the underlying patterns that keep this response active.

๐ŸŒฟ The Buteyko Breathing Method focuses on changing how you breathe so your body feels safer and calmer. It was developed by Dr Konstantin Buteyko and is widely used with asthma, anxiety, panic attacks and chronic stress.

๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ Many people with anxiety or panic breathe too fast or too deeply without realising it. This over-breathing lowers carbon dioxide levels in your blood. When CO2 drops, your nervous system can trigger symptoms like air hunger, chest tightness, dizziness and panic.

๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Buteyko teaches you to breathe more lightly and slowly. You practise breathing through your nose, reducing breath volume and pausing gently after breathing out. These changes help settle the breathing reflex and reduce the feeling that you need to gasp or sigh.

โฑ๏ธ One simple measure used is the control pause. You breathe out normally and hold your breath until the first clear urge to breathe returns. As breathing improves, this pause gradually lengthens. It gives a clear signal of how calm and regulated your breathing system is.

๐Ÿง  For anxiety and panic sufferers, the method helps retrain the nervous system. By learning to tolerate mild air hunger safely, your body stops interpreting breathing sensations as danger. Over time, panic responses soften and confidence increases.

๐Ÿฉบ For asthma patients, regular practice can reduce symptoms, improve breathing control and in some cases lower reliance on reliever inhalers, always alongside medical advice.

๐ŸŒ™ Many people also notice better sleep, less night-time breathing disruption and fewer stress spikes during the day.

๐Ÿ  You can practise Buteyko at home with short daily sessions. Progress comes from consistency. The aim is calm, quiet breathing that feels controlled and comfortable.

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ In everyday speech, ego means arrogance, pride or insecurity. People use it as a judgement about personality.

๐Ÿง  In ego state hypnotherapy, ego refers to parts or states. Each part holds memories, emotions and roles shaped by experience.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ In clinical hypnosis, ego strengthening builds confidence, emotional control and decision making under stress.

๐Ÿ“š In psychology, especially Freudian theory, ego is the mediator. It balances instinct, morality and reality.

Context changes the meaning. When you know which one is in play, conversations about self and behaviour make more sense.

๐Ÿงฌ New research points to a possible root cause of chronic inflammation.

Scientists identified a natural anti inflammatory brake in the body called epoxy oxylipins. These lipids help switch off inflammation once it has done its job. In some conditions, this brake gets broken down too fast.

๐Ÿงช The enzyme inhibitor GSK2256294 may protect this brake.

The substance blocks an enzyme that breaks down protective epoxy oxylipins. By slowing this process, the body may regain control over runaway inflammation instead of staying stuck in an inflamed state.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Why this matters for CFS / ME and Fibromyalgia (FM)?

Ongoing inflammation links to pain, fatigue, brain fog, and post exertional symptoms. This research supports the idea that ME CFS and FM may involve failed inflammation resolution rather than an overactive immune system alone.

๐Ÿ’ก What this could mean for symptoms.

In theory, protecting epoxy oxylipins could help:

โ€ข Reduce chronic pain
โ€ข Lower background inflammation
โ€ข Ease fatigue and immune stress

This is not a treatment yet. It is a biological explanation that fits many symptoms.

๐Ÿ“Š New meta study shows that weight loss and health benefits are lost rapidly when GLP-1s stopped.

A new BMJ meta-analysis looked at 37 studies and over 9,000 people using weight-loss medications, including GLP-1 drugs. Around 50 percent stopped treatment within 12 months. On average, weight returned to baseline in about 1.7 years after stopping. Regain happened fast, around 0.4 kg per month. Health benefits such as blood sugar and blood pressure also faded within about 1 to 1.5 years.

โš ๏ธ Medication can help with weight loss. However, it does not necessarily create lasting change on its own. When treatment stops, appetite and old eating habits often return unless something deeper has changed. This is why weight regain is common, even after large losses.

๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ What actually supports long-term weight control? Whether you use GLP-1 medication or not, lasting results depend on daily behaviours.
โ€ข Regular movement that fits your life
โ€ข Stress management so eating is not your main coping strategy
โ€ข Better sleep to stabilise appetite and energy
โ€ข Healthier food choices that are sustainable in the longer term

๐Ÿง  Hypnosis helps you change the drivers behind behaviour.
โ€ข Emotional eating
โ€ข Automatic habits
โ€ข Stress responses
โ€ข Motivation and follow-through

This work supports sustainable lifestyle change, not short-term control. That matters if medication is reduced, stopped, or never used.
