The Mental Health Safety Planning Service in Buckinghamshire provides support for those who are at risk of self-harm or have thoughts of ending their life.

If you live in Bucks and have attended A&E and have been seen by Psychiatric Liaison Service (PLS) or have been referred to PLS because you have had thoughts about ending your life and/or are at risk of self-harm, then this Service aims to support you.

If they’re struggling with their mental health, our Friends in Need Peers2Pals groups are here to help

We offer:
✨ Free activities
✨ Fun, relaxed sessions
✨ A safe space to connect with others who understand
✨ Support to build confidence and friendships

Our timetable offers a wide variety of activities and is shaped by our members. Young people can refer themselves, or referrals can be made through CAMHS, the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), or local voluntary and community organisations.

Our wellbeing groups support your wellbeing and mood through activities such as art, crafting, cooking, interactive games and group discussion. Groups are held in Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Chesham and Chalfont St Peter, but are open to anyone aged 18+ living in Bucks who is experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties.

We’re looking for young people aged 13 – 25 to help shape our services. This is a great opportunity to share your voice, influence change, make a difference, gain experience and meet others who care.

You could co-design services and resources as well as review and help develop existing services and products.
