We’re , Buckinghamshire Mind.

We’re here for you. No one should face a mental health problem alone.

We’re an independent charity run by local people for local people. We raise our own funds and make our own decisions about how we use them.

Every penny raised in aid of Buckinghamshire Mind is spent locally. This means when you support us, you’re helping your friends, family, and neighbours right here.

And we’re not doing it alone. We’re proud to be part of a network of local Minds across England, Wales and the Channel Islands. We share ideas and learn from each other. We all work together under the Mind umbrella – rooted in our local communities and connected across our nations.

Bucks Mind, national Mind, Lindengate and Space mental health charities were presented cheques for thousands of pounds on Friday 18 July. The money was raised by a Sing Out For Mental Health concert, a musical event celebrating the positive impact that singing has on our mental health, held at Aylesbury’s Waterside Theatre in April earlier this year.

The gardens of Lindengate in Wendover played host to a gathering of some of the concert singers, charity staff, sponsors and organisers of the concert. Each charity was awarded a cheque to go towards the vital work they do for the community, groups and individuals, some of whom were involved in the concert itself.

Thank you so much to everyone involved with Sing Out for Mental Health.

👋 Meet, Ewan...

Freemason, Ewan has been unable to work for the past two years, whilst dealing with complex PTSD. During this time we have supported him with daily living costs grants to help support him and his family financially.

🧠 He took on the Rough Ashlar Challenge throughout May—carrying a heavy stone and chain everywhere he went to symbolise the daily weight of his mental health struggles, to raise money in aid of the MCF and Buckinghamshire Mind.
