PLEASE PRAY FOR ME AND MY FAMILY AS WE DEAL WITH THIS DIFFICULT BATTLE.... I'M AFRAID THAT I HAVE SOME VERY PERSONAL REASONS FOR THIS POST, I'M SAD TO SAY IT HITS HOME .... IT IS IN THE MOST DIFFICULT MOMENTS OF LIFE YOU REALIZE WHO YOUR REAL FAMILY, FRIENDS OR PEOPLE ARE THAT REALLY HAVE YOUR BACK....... PEOPLE'S TRUE COLORS COME OUT WHEN THE ATTENTION ISN'T ON THEM ..... UNFORTUNATELY, SOME FRIENDS ARE GOING TO PRESS "LIKE", BUT NOT REALLY READ IT BECAUSE IT TAKES TIME TO READ THIS STATEMENT AND WHEN THEY SEE THAT IT IS LONG, THEY SKIP IT.
NOW I LOOK AT THOSE WHO TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS POST UNTIL THE END ..... (I THINK I WILL DISCOVER THAT 5 MAYBE 6 WILL........ CANCER IS VERY INVASIVE AND HARMFUL, EVEN AFTER THE END OF TREATMENT YOUR BODY IS STILL STRUGGLING TO RESTORE THE DAMAGE CAUSED BY RADIATION/CHEMOTHERAPY.......IT IS A VERY LONG PROCESS.... (100% TRUE)
PLEASE, IN HONOR OF A FAMILY MEMBER, A FRIEND WHO DIED, IS STILL FIGHTING CANCER OR EVEN HAD CANCER BUT BEAT IT, COPY AND PASTE (DON'T JUST SHARE) ON YOUR PAGE......

It’s called the long goodbye. Rapidly shrinking brain is how a doctor described it. As the patient's brain slowly dies, they change physically and eventually forget who their loved ones are and become less themselves. Patients can eventually become bedridden, unable to move & unable to eat or drink or talk to their loved ones.
There will be people who will scroll by this message because Dementia or Alzheimer's has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who has fought or is fighting a battle against Dementia or Alzheimer's.
In an effort to raise awareness of this cruel disease, I would like to see at least 5 of my friends put this on your timeline.

This is food for thought.
With the side effects of chemo and radiation, you will never be 100% again because your immune system is weak. Ruins marriages, families and relationships with friends. Because you're not the same again after cancer and treatments.
In the hardest moments you know who your real friends are or who the people are who appreciate you.
Unfortunately, like with most friendships, Facebook friends will leave you in the middle of a story. They want a post to “like”for the story, but they don't really read your message when they see it is long.
More than half have stopped reading. Someone may have already gone to the next post in their newsfeed.
I have decided to publish this post in support of close family, friends and relatives who have fought this horrible disease.
Now I'm focusing on those who take the time to read this post to the end ... a little test, just to see who reads and who shares without reading.
Cancer is a very aggressive and destructive enemy of our bodies.
Even after treatment, the body is devastated. It's a very long process.
I would like to know who I can count on and who takes the time to read this.
When you have finished this, write “Done”in the comments.
Sadly, cancer is still the illness of the century. Please, in honour of someone who died, or who is battling cancer. Everyone says, “If you need anything, don't hesitate: I'll be there for you.“ So I'm going to make a bet, without being pessimistic: I know my family and friends will put it on their wall. You just have to copy (not share)!!! It's awareness month for this disease. I did it for someone very very special! We all know someone who stood before us, and who has fought or who is fighting this battle as well as even those we have lost. .

In support of all carers !!!

I’m one of your so called UNSKILLED workers. I am a carer/support worker and I’m now in the frontline of corona virus. I’m looking after a vulnerable population, the same population that is high risk. To do MY unskilled job I have to have yearly training BY LAW, yes YOURS and your peers LEGISLATION, but IM UNSKILLED? I HAVE to know bylaw infection control BUT I’m UNSKILLED? I take care of people everyday, I check skin integrity but I’m UNSKILLED?I give medication daily, many of those are CONTROLLED but, Im UNSKILLED I’m the one that’s there when no one else is. Would you like me to take care of one of your loved ones? I would because I CARE, as do my fellow carers and that MR Johnson is a SKILL that can’t be trained with a university degree, it a DEGREE in humanity, we are probably more SKIlLLED because we do at least 50 jobs in one day in a life of being a support worker
All carers I’m with you and thank you for what WE do everyday as unskilled workers ###x
Could ALL of my friends who work in health and social care and have friends who work in care copy this, maybe we might be heard

I'm fully vaccinated and boostered. No, I don't know "what's in it". Neither this vaccine or the ones I had as a child. Nor do I know what's in the 11 secret herbs and spices at KFC.

I also don't know exactly what's in Ibuprofen or any other painkiller-- they just treat my headaches & my pains.

I don't know what's in tattoo ink, botox and fillers, or every ingredient in my soap, shampoo or deodorants. I don’t know the long term effect of mobile phone use, or whether or not that restaurant I just ate at REALLY used clean foods and washed their hands.

There's a lot of things I don't know.

I do know one thing: life is short. Very short. And I, personally, still want to do things. I want to travel and hug people without fear, and find a little feeling of life "before".

Throughout my life I've been vaccinated against many diseases. Measles, mumps, rubella, polio, chickenpox, hepatitis, pneumonia, influenza, rotavirus, tetanus, pertussis. We trusted the science, and never had to suffer through or transmit any of those said diseases.

I'm vaccinated. Not to please the government. Not to make other people do it. But I don't want to:
* die from Covid-19
* clutter a hospital bed if I get sick
* not be able to hug my loved ones
* have to test routinely
* live my life in fear

Love my job think the world of my clients
Today a sad day for me 😢as attending the funeral of one of my longest clients of 10 years
She was one in a million and I will miss her so much but the memories will remain forever
