Balance matters! Ankles matter!
The mobility of our ankles plays a big part in our ability to navigate balancing - we need to be able to pronate, supinate, flex - putting our feet under our body and making walking a joy.
This weekend I'm joining www.advanced-trainings.com team to help deliver the Ankle Issues workshop - only they'll be in Oregon USA 🇺🇸 and I'll be here in the UK 🇬🇧- ready to navigate the challenge of hosting livestream!
This ankle work is SO effective, relevant to all of us and it makes a really big difference. It's one of my favourite classes 🙌

Later in May 2024 I headed out to Spain with my colleagues from Advanced-Trainings to walk and teach on The Camino de Santiago. Over 192km we explored how long-distance walking enabled us to explore the edges of our personal ‘options for movement’ and, by default, how it felt when our movement was less available, painful or we were fatigued. We experimented with different ways to climb the hills, go the distance or to flow quietly on the descent. It was an amazing, demanding and beautiful experience!
