Ear infections are very common, particularly in children.

Common symptoms of an ear infection are:
- Pain inside the ear
- Being sick
- A high temperature
- A lack of energy
- Difficulty hearing
- Discharge running out of the ear
- A feeling of pressure or fullness inside the ear
- Itching and irritation in and around the ear
- Scaly skin in and around the ear

Hay fever season is still in full swing and you may have noticed your symptoms getting worse due to a high pollen count.

Symptoms of hay fever include:

- Sneezing and coughing
- A runny or blocked nose
- Itchy, red, or watery eyes
- Itchy throat, mouth, nose, and ears
- Loss of smell
- Pain around your temples and forehead
- Headache
- Earache
- Feeling tired

If you have asthma, you might also be short of breath, have a wheeze or cough and have a tight feeling in your chest during this time.

As part of the NHS Pharmacy First scheme, if you suspect you may have impetigo, we're able to offer a free, private consultation and treatment if needed. This means you can get the right treatment without having to go to your GP.

Impetigo starts with red sores or blisters, they burst and leave patches. The patches can gradually get bigger, itch and spread to other parts of your body.
